As a reminder it was a year ago TODAY when this happened between these two teams and one of the most egregious charlie niners ever occured in league history.

not surprised by these results at all, i don’t think most people expected atlanta to take this, but i think shock looked kind of messy at some points in the game?? especially hollywood. i think if they’re playing this messy against teams like the Reign, it spells disaster for them when they play a much stronger team like the Fusion.

good game though, so fun to watch games that aren’t utterly dominant by one team, and we’ve been seeing that a lot in the playoffs lately, so it’s so nice to see teams finally stepping it up.

however, on a non-shock/reign related note, it seems that philly is virtually invincible right now.

Same teams winning. I think OWL is not competitive right now.

I slept through this game today.

Surprised Atlanta even got 1 map - but the Shock have been less than clean in their gameplay this weekend.
