Atlanta Reign vs. Dallas Fuel - FINAL

Ha, nice. A subtle admission, but I’ll take it.

Other Season Playoff implications for Saturday, August 24th, 2019:

Boston Uprising vs New York Excelsior:

  • There are no playoff implications with this match. The Uprising are already eliminated, and the NYXL have already locked up the 2-seed for the season playoffs.

San Francisco Shock vs Vancouver Titans:

  • There are no playoff implications with this match. The Shock have already locked up the 3-seed, and the Titans have already locked up the 1-seed for the season playoffs.

Los Angeles Gladiators vs Los Angeles Valiant:

  • If the Gladiators win this match, then they guarantee themselves a spot in the Top 5, thus assuring that they face the Spark in Round 1 of the Season Playoffs.
  • The Valiant need to win this match to lock up the final open spot in the play-in tourney, which would thus eliminate the Hunters. It’s not completely over for them if they lose this match, since they have another chance tomorrow via facing the Shock. However, this match is the Valiant’s best chance to lock up their spot in the Top 12.

While it is funny and true, I kind of feel like it’s the wrong move? From what I’ve seen, DJ Khaled is an actual OWL fan. Seems like it might not be a bridge worth burning.

I’m half expecting this to be the 2nd ever Quadruple Bagel tbh, even with Atlanta officially sandbagging this weekend

Atlanta running the ladder meta with Sym.

The playoffs won’t use 1.40, so we could get a Sym playoffs

Well, this does not help the “do not nerf sym” posts I’ve been writing.

If Sym, Mei and D.Va are all meta for playoffs, can we call it the Beamie Baby meta?

im still too confused with the whole switching patches at the beginning of playoffs part to even process what i might actually see there

I see no harm in calling it that, so why not?

I hope they do and, rather selfishly, I hope she gets stomped or is at least average.

Maybe, after seeing she’s weak in OWL, Blizz will rethink the changes…

I’m ashamed to be thinking this way… :pensive:

BZZZZZZZZZZZZ!
I already liked Sym, before she went OP, HA! :yum:
I wonder why Atlanta suddenly released the Symmetra, the OWL is still at the pre-Sigma patch and Sym was not changed at all. She was OP before there but nobody played her in OWL during the 2-2-2 meta. Interesting. Experiences from the current Sigma Beta season?

When the Sigma patch launches, they will be ahead of the game.

1st game of the day? I only watch for the tokens. Already know Dallas will lose. I see they have a new stage.

Looks like there gonna nerf sym again

I’m super hyped for the Reign, I hope they win their two games this weekend, they’re set up perfectly for it. That was some totally disrespectful play by Babybay though XD

Yep, nothing will stop it now that OWL teams are playing her. It’s not like Sym is doomfist or Hanzo. They are untouchable.

That would make perfect sense. Or they just want to show that Sym deserves nerfs. (I hope not).

It looked like ATL were going to go Clockwork for a moment and now I’m sad
