Are these D.Mon stats real or is someone pulling our leg

She has 750 HP. Armor. Shields. (Health bar stats)
Plus the actual shield she carries who knows how much that can block. Plus better movement than almost all other tankS.
Is all that correct?

The only other stat I ran across was her damage tickles at 60

dam by chance have a link to her stats and damage numbers? maybe ill try and find it on youtube

not health or stats but i found a cool ability breakdown video

nice, they way she swings her sword and then uses shield. its like a dungeons and dragons warrior character or the fighter class sword and shield. i always thought brig was like that but maybe this hero will be moreso

i always play that type of hero in skyrim or any D&D fantasy rpg. the sword and shield tank class or fighter. since simple and basic

Can y’all chill she isn’t even out yet, dang. Let a bish be born before we cry about her.

There was a screenshot of her having 600 HP (about 275 HP and 325 Armor) on a game blog post somewhere. It’s in SuperTF’s video about D.mon if you want to look it up.

I can tell you exactly where I got those 750 hp armor shield stats from since I can’t link or post the screenshots.
On Facebook there is a page called Overwatch Memes. It’s the recent post was “ok raid boss” with two slightly out of focus screen shots.
Although it’s a meme page I think the guys post is serious. But god I’m hoping not.

So big brig brings new goats? Behold gang, the new GOAT meta.

Be careful interpreting raw numbers.

Like look at DVa. She looks very durable on paper, but her crit hitbox is massive.

When almost every shot against her is a crit, she becomes one of the squishiest tanks.

I have a feeling DMon will be similar.

Nothing unusual.

It’s a balancing seesaw. If you want more damage, you’ll have to give up some health and defense. You want more defensive protection? You won’t get as much damage.

Consider that D.va doesn’t do much damage but has more effective health than Reinhardt. D.mon looks like she swings pretty fast, but low damage per swing, unlikely to critically hit either, so her damage could have a cleave radius.

Then there’s her booster maneuvers which might affect her damage numbers too.

It looks like a pretty standard tank template.

Brig didn’t break Overwatch simply because she had a barrier.

She broke Overwatch because she launched with a 600hp barrier shield, an almost 1s hard cc stun on a 5s cd, 200hp (which was strong by pre-S9 standards), rally gave allies a maximum armour amount of 150 (instead of max 100 overhealth as it is now).
I’m honestly probably still forgetting something, because she was so broken that she had to be nerfed a dozen times to be anything but PTSD inducing.

This is what the devs wrote in 2018
“Brigitte is a tank/healer hybrid”
That’s how they saw her.

She has 500 health barrier, stun was on an 8 second cooldown, she had 250 health, 50 of which was armored health. She healed with a single Repair pack up to 150 health or 75 armor over healing.

Whipshot, her knock back, was on a 5 second cooldown.

They didn’t see any hybrids. She was a Support, and they built her as a bulky support that could move within the team, instead of behind them. She still couldn’t solo Tank, but pretty much everyone else was solo-able by her.

We should wait till we can play her to see if she’s good. If anything I feel she might be weak on launch.

Nah. You will definitely struggle against her, fam. She might be squishy Reinhardt, but I am quite confident that the issues you have are going to persist given the nature of their designs.

:flexed_biceps::rofl:

Stun that went through bariers. So combo “stun enemy rein and shatter” was just beyond stupid.

I am pretty sure repair packs gave aromr overhealth also.

It was 600 shield, the stun was on a 5 second cooldown that was changed to 7 seconds after some nerfs, it was never 8 seconds.

Brig DID not break OW… The OWL and Ana later broke OW, Brig was just a part of GOATs

I never stated that she was ever classified as another role.
I quoted the devs on their perspective on what Brig was in their eyes.

Brigitte

  • Shield Bash
    • No longer can travel or stun targets through barriers
    • Damage reduced from 50 to 5
  • Inspire
    • Cooldown reduced from 1.5 seconds to 1 second
    • Duration increased from 5 seconds to 6 seconds
    • Total healing increased from 80 to 100

Developer Comments: Brigitte’s Shield Bash is a strong ability that often feels difficult to counter. This change will offer new options for counter play, enabling shield tanks to better protect themselves and their teammates. Reducing its damage reduces her total stun combo damage potential while still allowing Whip Shot and her basic melee attacks to retain their full strength. Brigitte is a tank/healer hybrid, and lately we’ve been reducing her effectiveness by lowering the power of her non-healing functionality. We want to make sure she is still a viable pick, so we’re increasing the uptime of her Inspire passive ability to help improve her overall healing output.

While we’re at it, it was 600HP until October 2018.
Brigitte

  • Barrier Shield
    • Shield health reduced from 600 to 500

Developer Comments: The health of Brigitte’s barrier was extremely difficult for most heroes to deal with, especially as she closes the distance to her targets. This change still provides Brigitte with substantial survivability but should also be more rewarding for opponents who pressure her.

Her stun was also on a 5 second cooldown at launch, not changed until a couple months later
Brigitte

  • Rally
    • Maximum armor per player reduced from 150 to 100
  • Shield Bash

It wasn’t 8 seconds even after several nerfs.
Brigitte

  • Shield Bash
    • Cooldown increased from 6 to 7 seconds
  • Repair Pack
    • An option to control Brigitte’s Repair Pack targeting sensitivity has been added under Options > Controls > Brigitte
      Overwatch - Patch Notes

Which was changed back to 5 seconds with OW2’s beta and then formalised in the live patch of OW2.
As far as I can tell it has never at any point been 8 seconds.

I dreamt that D.Mon wasn’t nice to me at Chuck E. Cheese, so yeah, nerf her plz.

her armor packs also gave overhealth armor. and I believe her rally dark-orange armor stacked damage reduction (which was later bug fixed. years later iirc). Only later, a duration timer of 30 seconds was added. Before that, you could even stack several ults?

When she was released, she could stun Reinhardt through his barrier (her bash had a angle of 90°), and her shield bash also did not get a double knockdown with other charging targets. Instead, she won and stunned them (she was basically Sigma’s rock if Sigma’s rock could go through barriers).
