Mercy… she’s so boring and I never feel like I’ve truly earned my results. I need a more interactive hero.

I can understand not wanting to play these heroes. Especially Reaper since he’s pretty dogwater and has been for a while. Curious to here what you do enjoy playing though.
I find lucio super fun, mostly cause he can wall ride and parkour. Zoooooom
Also, I agree with the Sombra take. She’s really unfun, both to play and play against.
Seems like a lot of people have the same opinion as you on Widow. I personally love the adrenaline of a good clean headshot. 'Specially against Tracers, those lil rats.
I don’t find d.va’s kit interesting enough to warrant me playing her and most of the time there are other tanks I enjoy who can do everything she does, but in a more fun way.
This is the first time I’ve heard someone refuse to play Mercy for honor reasons and I totally see why you would see it that way.
Yup, Cass is preeeetty unfavorable right now. 'Specially with his range nerf a while ago (which was his only redeeming quality because he could stop pharah better than most). That and his new nade is just cringe, stopping people’s abilities while its locking on mid air.
LOL was not expecting that for a response. It’s true he used to be more of a “Kneel before me” tank with his brutal rock damage, but I still find him fun even without it. That’s just me though, I enjoy his character (lore wise) too much to stop playing him. Same reason I’m still latched onto Reaper in this abysmal state.
Interesting. I do the same thing where I move and act like how imagine the character themselves would. That’s why I like playing Reaper because his personality fits in so much with his brawler kit, same with JQ.

Bastion. You won’t catch me on him anymore. Tried out his rework early on in OW2’s release to see if they fixed the problems (Spoilers, they didn’t). Since then, they’ve made him even stronger and such a cheese pick.
I just can’t respect someone who willfully selects bastion, especially if afterwards when they win, they try to brag like they were somehow skillful. Cheesing a win because you lost a team fight early on does not make you skillful.
Have some pride, self respect, a little dignity or something. Maybe some shame. Don’t resort to a Bastion swap. Be better.

In my mind, he wasn’t really that bad before this patch, but now that he has some sort of reduced damage received in turret form, it’s just busted. You can’t hit his crit point as easy as you could in OW2 because he can move away now and for some reason they thought “Yeah, lets make him take less damage in his most powerful form” like what???
And I hate those types of people who brag after playing the easiest heroes in the game. It used to be Hogs, but now it’s Orisas, Zaryas, Zens, Anas, and Syms.
That’s the whole point you metal ranked dunces. They aren’t actually killing things as I already pointed out to be the reason I refuse to play the hero. If my teammates are actually doggarbage at the game or otherwise just trolling the match or doing bad, you will never catch me picking a hero that is team dependent rather than any other tank that has so much better solo capabilities. Me switching from other heroes to Reinhardt would be sandbagging myself and throwing the game harder at that point. I am absolutely never going to be doing that
And hey this is something that you will see a lot in your games. Teammates playing bad or not being able to face the opponents crying for a Rein but the tank refuses to switch. This is the reason why you don’t get a Rein at those moments
Oh, when I actually land one, I feel like I just graduated from Bronze to Grandmaster. The problem is… actually landing one… I can barely hit anyone. 
Unless it comes to other snipers, then it’s a 50/50 (maybe more like a 30/70 in their favor… I’m slow, okay?)
Exactly how I feel. If I wanna play a Dive tank, Winston and Ball are way cooler. If I wanna do some bullying, Doom, Hog, and Queen are my main go-tos just for tank in general.

Respectfully, you’re a big fool. And so does anyone else who thinks D.Va’s gameplay is not fun.
D.Va’s kit is super fun. Using Boosters to get away with 10 health, fun. Eating a bunch of ultimate, fun. Harassing backline, fun. Getting a 4 K with her nuke, fun. Have you ever gotten a 4k nuke from behind? That is adrenaline rush.
Did you know, D.Va can matrix Junkrat’s Total Mayem? Yup, those pesky grenades Junkrat drops can be matrixed. And it’s so easy to do, and kinda fun. Like I make it my mission to stop Junkrat when I play D.Va. And I do a decent job of making the rat player switch.

Once, dorado I think, I flanked the enemy team and hit em all with my bomb. it was so funny cuz my team was asking me what I was doing flanking, I threw my bomb and told them that is what I was doing.

And it’s so easy to set up. D.Va’s mobility enables a flanking nuke. The downside is that the rest of the team is sitting ducks lol.
not when you get the whole team and they have to make it back before you cap point. 
Wish I had saved that one, was great. But back then I didn’t know how to do that, and I haven’t been able to replicate it since.

Ball. He’s the only one who triggers my motion sickness.
I hate when the Kill Cam/Ally Cam switches to Wrecking Ball. Nausea seems to be twice as strong when someone else is driving.

Lucio - every time I play him I just feel like I have to learn 20,000 wall ride techniques and I’m not interested. I hate his gun, and most lucio on my team never heal me when I need on DPS so not really a Lucio fan.
Lifeweaver - Sorry but he comes off as self possessed and smug to me, and probably spends a lot of time on vanity and looking in the mirror, also his kit is weird.
Moira - she’s probably the most evil character in the entire roster nuf said.
Genji - I just don’t like him, I like his character in the lore a lot but I don’t like his gameplay of samurai sword man.
Hanzo - I regret it every time I try and I he’s one of the most stressful chars to play against imo.
Junkrat - I just feel like playing him would result in my losing brain cells, and I never liked grenade launcher type weapons the projectiles are way too slow and it just feels terrible to use imo.
Doomfist - Sorry but as much as fighting games are cool I just don’t wanna play as him.
Ramattra - Dude is such an angsty man that picks the wrong path I don’t like him on a personal level also he turns into a giant mech which isn’t my idea of cool.
Winston - I just don’t like his kit and it still amazes me to this day it even functions. His primary fire is also the laziest damn gun in the entire game.
Sigma - I just don’t like the character or his weird muppet feet hanging out like they do I also don’t like his rocks they just reflect weird and are slow. I don’t know how some Sigma players make him work but it feels awful to me.
Hog - I get he’s a well liked char by a lot of people but my initial reaction to him was he was gross. I still feel that way.
Zarya - I just don’t like her kit at all it feels so weird and wrong. Her gun feels bad to use to me because of the range limits combined with her no mobility and her alt fire feels even worse. Her shields feel frustrating to play against and when you are her it feels frustrating to use it well. I really don’t like mechanics that are meant to make you not shoot in a FPS. Genji reflect is guilty of this too.
Rein - to me the king of toxic comms for people that play him. I also hated ppl pressuring me to play him when he was meta for so long. I want to do something not sit there on a corner and wait for ppl to walk in or hold my shield and throw out the worlds slowest projectile. Then you finally get his ult and you have to spend charge to even get a pick but when it’s used against your team somehow it’s a team wipe. Just not fun on any level to me having a melee character in a FPS
Now realizing I actually hate most the tank roster for more than 1 reason. Figures I only play Dva and Orisa and still got my best placement

Not because he isnt fun, but doomfist. I feel like i would honestly need to make an alt account to learn this hero. I feel more squishy then any other character in the game when i play him. Its not fun for me or my team so he is the only hero i refuse to play.

Outright refusing is a strong way of phrasing it, but you won’t see me pick Zarya or DF. Tank has become my least favorite role in OW and I simply can’t wrap my head around how to play them best.

Tank;
None of em. I actually like EVERY tank to a degree, though I do have favorites. Like Zarya pre-buff, or Orisa pre-buff. But tanks I don’t like playing these days are Zarya (I feel like a bad person when I pick Zarya now, unless the enemies are bagging and whatnot) and D.VA- she just doesn’t feel very… Rewarding to me. I prefer Rein and Ram.
DPS;
Actually a fair number of em. I refuse to play Bastion because NERF BASTION. I also really hate playing Genji on console specifically, and Hanzo hasn’t been fun for a while. Nerfed, my throat. I usually refuse to go someone like Soldier, because even with his reduced recoil I don’t like using his primary.
Support;
A LOT of supports. I happen to have slacked on playing support for a while, so my skill level decreased. But supports I absolutely refuse to play include Lifeweaver. I just don’t like him, his face is VERY punchable and his heals don’t do anything in my experience. I also dislike Bap (that’s just for now though, I haven’t played him in a while so I got BAD at him, lol). I also really dislike playing Moira, though I will go her if I have absolutely no other choice.

Moira and Illari, because I refuse to play the dps heroes in the wrong role.
I have 1,383 hrs in support. With Moira I played 4 hrs, and with Illari, just 15 minutes.
It’s staying that way.

Math is indeed hard (I struggle with it too so don’t worry bout it lol).
I agree with all of those minus hog because it is against my Reaper main DNA to play him. Would much rather play against him.
It’s too short lived to bring me any joy playing her. I personally like long exaggerated fights where I get to bully the enemy into submission, so heroes like Reaper and Ramattra who force the enemies to run backwards in fear of getting to close are perfect for me.
D.va’s kit is all really short bursts of minimal damage or massive damage where its over in a split second. Her nuke instantly vaporizes the enemies where as a hero like Reaper chews their souls from their corpses while their still breathing. I also don’t like running away from my enemies and would much rather run towards them like JQ.
Really? I am very prone to motion sickness so I find it strange that I also don’t get nauseas playing him. His camera is very stable in ball form unless your back is against a wall and it forces the close up zoom on you. Might be because my frames are garbanzo while playing this game that I just got used to it.
That’s a lot of heroes, holy. I’mma try and keep it brief for these ones.
Lucio - My technique for wall ridding is just spamming the space bar on any thing that isn’t the ground to gain speed lol
LW - I agree, he also has some weird voice lines that make him sound clingy/nosey (something along the lines of "I hate it when people run away from me)
Moira - Definitely a sadist hiding behind a guise of “Scientific research purposes”
Genji - Fair, seems a lil too unreliable for me to want to play him.
Hanzo - Yuuup, kinda wild that he can one shot you from point blank and from a mile away
Junkrat - His GL is pretty strong imo and the fact that enemies can randomly step on it is a bit to spammy for me
DF - He was better in OW1 imo, still fun but not like before
Ram - I see him as the Malcom X of the omnics while Mondata is like Martin Luther King
Winton - He is pretty weak unless you know how to main him (I don’t) then he turns into a demon
Sigma - I love his story, love his kit. So much fun predicting where the enemy will be after I launch my rock at them and preventing their abilities with my shield. By far one of my favorites
Hog - Yep, same here
Zarya - Yep, you said it better than I could. Not a fun hero
Rein - I feel like he just exists better and more chad-like in 6v6. Now it’s just a matter of holding your shield up and ducking back into cover on repeat
Bonus Orisa - I personally find her high and mighty “I am justice” personality really annoying. She’s made to seem like some big bad warrior, but she’s just cheesy and morally inconsistent.
Highly recommend trying some DF parkour. It is surprisingly good at teaching you the hidden mechanics of DF while also being fun to complete. There’s also quite a few good Doomfist content creators who give great tips like QuakedOn and ZBRA.
Yeah, Tank has become a headache in OW2. Zarya just being the epitome of unfun.
I can totally see why. Moira maybe less so, but definitely wouldn’t play Orisa unless I’m forced to.
Pretty based answers, the only one I don’t agree with is Bap, but you said its temporary so A+. Also, Soldier is just cringe in my mind. Ever since OW2 came out he became more obnoxious and the recent buffs just amplified that lameness.
What about Kiri, Bap, and Zen? I feel those three (Bap maybe less so) are pretty DPS like. The only defining thing about Moira and Illari that separates them from these 3 (I think this is why, not sure) is there ults do direct damage rather than heal/help the team do damage.

Doom and ball. Both hero designs just feel like trolls whose entire purpose is to make everyone else miserable and I refuse to stoop that low.
I guess also LW. I think life grip is an ability that shouldn’t be in the game and I hate it being used on me. I would not subject anyone else to that.

I swear i will never play rat (ball) hes so annoying to play against and hes annoying to have on your own team if he isnt a god player, and not only that i hate his gameplay i see as lame (rat players may disagree) but i just cant stand his playstyle and kit. Also i find his character really annoying lol
