Man, I remember when Prince Charming characters or beautiful men were thought of as cool.
Now everyone hates them?
Like any time some suave talking character appeared on screen on a movie, flicking his hair people were like “damn that guy got the MOVES”.
Now it’s like “ew, where is the masculinity? this isn’t a man at all”
Also, do we not have MORE than enough buff, masculine, manly men?
Like manly men way outnumber feminine/pretty/beautiful men by a gigantic margin.
Ignoring them isn’t a solution to their ignorance, but I don’t think their ignorance needs a solution. I learned early on that you can only help the people who are open to it, so while I have had conversations with some racist people that legitimately went “hmm…I didn’t think about it like that” after I explain “Black people were kept as slaves, then when they were set free they were subjected to a sick amount of atrocities regardless, so its wrong to look at black people as our problems are only our own”.
But then you have some people that think you can hold a race of people down for years, and then when you stop, that race of people should just spring up like nothing happened. Anyone who thinks that is just beyond help, and I certainly don’t have to try to help them.
You know what gets me? Some people legitimately suggested black people have a “fighter gene” or something like that. Its literal cope so that they don’t have to think ‘hmm, are we wrong about black people?’. If given the choice between debating someone who legitimately thinks black people have a “fighter gene”, or turning my back on them and talking to people who don’t have such a poisonous opinion already…
Well, I want to say I’d do the latter, but this is me we’re talking about. Sometimes I enjoy debating with controversial people. Other times though, I’ll just tell them to stop and walk away. Only the “stop” might not be as polite as I have to type here.
You completely, and perhaps maliciously, missed my point. The point of me talking about my history was to say “When I make typos, I’ll intentionally not correct them”. that was a response to you saying “Hmm, you still haven’t corrected this typo. Could you, perhaps, have typed ‘pan sexual’ on purpose!?!”.
So, like I said to the guy above, I’d love to stay and chat with you even if you’re not chatting in good faith. But I’m not going to.

He is cool. I think he fits in quite well. Maybe his hair is a little cartoony, but it’s no different than WoW male blood elf hair to me so
maybe that should have been his story, instead of his sexuality, make him a “Prince charming” type… and don’t mention his sexuality at all, let people assume what they want
