Looking back this past year from Archives 2021, I think the reason we got throwback looks to characters nationalities of the past is because the developers are holding off on the lore. With OW2 being story driven, I believe they are holding off on explaining anything further for characters in-game, so I think that’s why we got Colonial Soldier and Tracer, Feudal Japan Genji, and Polyanitsa Zarya to show old Slavanic/Russian lore.
So my guess, with OW2 still a ways to go, it wouldn’t surprise me to Archives 2022 following in the same vein. So here are some ideas.
Mercy:
Because of her Swiss background, some type of military/mercenary skin would do for her. And since the forums the past few months have, for some reason, had numerous amounts of threads from Mercy mains, just give her one here.

Swedish Förstärkningsmanskapet (Reinforcement troops) of modern 20th century might look decent for her.
Symmetra:
Lots of old Hindi military backgrounds to choose from for Sym.
Sigma:
Old Dutch Colonial Era Naval look with the big puffy neck clothing!
Reaper:
World War I era clothing.
