• 2 battle passes per season, $10 each
• you can’t buy the battle pass with your coins anymore you now have to buy it with real money (ie. Like pink mercy)

The Finals gives you back your coins + more, and has a better battlepass than Overwatch. Better balanced too

In Helldivers 2, you can find sufficient currency by playing the game to buy the Warbond (battle passes) which also never expire. And cosmetics are between $3-$5 usd.
Lots of games have better monetization policies than some of the “AAA” ones.

Figured it was heading that way when they decided to not nerf the blatantly overpowered aim assist controller users have.
That and its EA; it was bound to happen eventually.

They’re doing their best to get all the money they can. Overwatch will probably follow suit in due time

Not enough is spoken about just how bad Apex actually is.
Oh, wow, a Battle Pass system worse than launch Overwatch Dos? I am surprised as I thought Blizzard was one of the only companies allergic to revenue. I guess it is becoming increasingly common within the industry.
The good news is that it saves sensible players money they otherwise might have spent?

I got SCREWED with the Valorant battle pass and I have to be honest, whenever that happens, I lowkey drop a game. I was having a lot of fun, but when I realized I was putting in all of that time and effort and could not get the free Ghost skin on console because I did not no life the game, I sort of just… Stopped playing. And they left Iso broken as hell on console and did not fix Neon slide despite moving into a new season. It’s just like, I do not know, I already deal with enough abuse here. I do not need it there.

valorant bp has skins with way way less work put into them than shop skins and you dont get currency back and all the filler stuff is very useless

Apex and Valorant both are more trash than OW.
Gotta be a real life NPC to actually sit there and enjoy either one of those games. People that play those games do not deserve to vote nor do they deserve their freedom.

I tried for about a year to play Valorant to the point that I’d get hooked and keep going.
I do really enjoy the gunplay and how sink or swim matches can be until you learn the game. But, even after I learned the game, there were just so many more poor matches for me than good ones.
It got to a point where I’d think “okay I’m going to grind out some valorant tonight when I get home!” but then I’d quickly follow that by asking myself “hm… is it worth having maybe one good game, a few mediocre ones, and a majority where I get less than 3 elims and bring my team down?”
Now I’m sure a lot of people read that and think “That’s how OW is for me”, but for me personally, OW still leaves me feeling like I’ve at least contributed more, even if we end up losing after all is said and done.

It has been already known for being terribly overpriced.
Also, woke game so no value is lost.
Never even understood Apex in the first place.
TBF if you wanna talk about overpriced monetization you gotta check out The First Descendant. Thats what I call overprice. 
Its another reason why OW1 was better than OW2. Fights were longer in OW1, so it felt like you contributed more instead of just exploding in OW2 and that being the end of it.
Surely you are joking, this sounds as ludicrous as when Mr. Krabs opened 2 Krusty Krab locations next to each other
