Apex drops below 100k on twitch

Except you tried to make it sound like Apex was dropping viewers already.
Meanwhile they are over 200k missing Shroud, Dizzy, Ninja etc who would put it well above 300k, pretty much the same as the day it came out and everyone was streaming it.

And that’s with zero competitive aspect.

Except I didn’t. You just didn’t read my post, you read the title, like half of the users who posted here.

And you continue on that road

I probably should have read more of the posts but to be fair this is literally a thread where the original post is you bragging about how you will be right.

There is nothing to gain from reading all the posts here, There’s no real discussions to be had or anything of value to be contributed, It makes it quite painful to read them all.

All games stop being watched after the its new wears off, I don’t see how people keep saying apex is crushing OW means anything, of course it is, its new.

oof but it is below Fortnite rn, thats rough.

Only reasons I can think of is Apex shares more of a playerbase/viewer base with CSGO than Fortnite does

Breaking News: CS:GO tops charts with 270K viewers (probably because there is a tournament right now).

That and the fact G2 are currently playing in a tournament in R6S.
Apex was targeted at the average FPS enthusiast who will likely enjoy some CS:GO and R6S as well. Heck the biggest streamer of Apex is a CS former pro who plays a tonne of R6S on the side.

The G2 game is what im currently watching and i’d otherwise be watching some Apex.

Let’s be real the OWL is on sterioids due to the token drops, the amount of “afk viewers” are at an all time high for sure with the increased rate and new team skins. It will wear of in time, but if you ever want a real grasp of what OW esports is like, they have to remove the token rewards for a month and we’ll all see how “popular” it is.

I really dont feel like comparing Apex to Overwatch is fair since Apex just came out, i think waiting it out for 7-8 months and see how things are going then, because everyone is so desperate for something different, they’ll try anything. Overwatch is stale for a lot of people, they will switch to Apex, but wait until the hype dies down, then look at the numbers.

Just 29 days later and Apex is consistently below 100k viewers, sitting on a respectable 60-80k viewership.

Called it.

Have fun overhyping every new free game as the best thing ever and forgetting about it in two shakes of a lamb’s tail.

LATER.

When the battle pass drops, there will be a lot more activity. That’s all we’re waiting for.

I mean, literally no-one thought that a game could sustain the first week viewership. It’s ludicrous to think so.

Even games like LoL or Fortnite struggle to sustain 100k without either huge streamers like Tyler1 or Ninja or tournaments/professional play like the LCK happening.

Plus, like LilJinx said, the battle pass is coming out tomorrow so that’ll massively boost viewership.

my understanding is the battle pass has been extremely underwhelming…

It has its first major content patch coming out literally tomorrow, you couldn’t have picked a worse time to say I told you so.

When you pay high viewership streamers to play your game, that’s not difficult.
