Anyone else want a new MAIN healer?

It is not that I am against a main healer or a main tank; however, it has been over a year since we got a DPS period, and we have NEVER gotten a general DPS since launch. Or I guess in other words “main DPS.” Sombra and Doomfist are undeniably niche and secondary relative to a lot of the DPS cast. The only real excuse is that they gave Symmetra/Torbjorn a DPS rework and turned Hanzo into a general DPS. Personally, I sort of just want a new one for the first time. After that, we can have another main healer or tank followed by the other and then maybe another off-healer/off-tank. I get that DPS has more, but going months and months without any additions to the class is not the solution.

Even as someone who heavily enjoys playing DPS over both healer and tank, I think what’d be best for the game would be another main healer and another main tank. Probably tank first (barely). Not sure how to implement another main healer that has it’s own unique set of abilities and healing though. As for a main tank, a tank that reduces damage and CC to teammates nearby would be something unique (at the expense of himself when such an ability is active)

I actually just wish they’d stop adding new characters for a while and balance what they have instead. Making changes to the existing roster has as much potential to refresh the game as tacking more onto it. I’m more excited about the current PTR patch than I was about any character release since the end of 2016.

Overpowered characters on release: Ana, Sombra, Doomfist, Moira (no known counters for like 3 weeks), Brigitte

Close to balanced: Hammond

Underpowered characters on release: Orisa

make a balanced character, hammond was the start but now hes underpowered.

I want a tank that can compete with Reinhardt’s job. I’m sick of hearing people say: “Buff Reinhardt!” even though he is one of the best heroes in the game right now. This is only a problem because he gets smacked around, and Orisa just simply can’t compete with him outside of a few specific comps.

I feel like the game needs another main tank over a main healer, because Reinhardt is uncontested for the best tank and Moira mercy and Ana are all viable. Mercy might be weak but she’s still viable

But like a more shooter type DPS, less ability reliant like DF is.

What ever hero it is, I hope it is one that spends most of their time in the air. Pharah only keeps the sky clear from other Pharah’s right now.

I would prefer a new shield tank with a tiny bit of mobility so they can set up at odd angles.

If we did get another main healer, I want a nice middle ground (in terms of skill requirement) between Ana and Mercy.

If anyone played Killing Floor 2, the combat medic has healing darts that lock on to a target, but only after you’ve lined up your shot. And they have travel time. It’s sort of a nice middle ground I feel. You still need to aim, but not so perfectly that your teammate is dead if they move out of your projectile path. Just my 2 cents though.

if it has to be a dps, i’d love it if it had a gun similar to D.Va/Mercy…for some reason i find those rly fun <3
plus, i somehow think it probably will be a dps? we had Moira and then Hamtaro so…idk…

I want a new main tank that eats Doomfist for breakfast. So tired of being thrown around like a rag-doll by that big pile of developer mistake.
