Thank you for your kind words. I think this particular decision might cost Blizzard more players than their past bad decisions. Bad decisions in tuning/nerfing/boosting can be reversed, and everybody paying attention to the game will know pretty quickly. But when you uninstall and put down a game for a long time due to what you think will be a permanent decision, you stop paying attention to what goes on in it, and all the normal mechanisms of adding content won’t affect you as much since you won’t be aware of them or fast to come and see what happened. Overwatch has competent competition from other games to steal these players for good. That’s not even talking about all the bad stuff you will continue hearing about the game, since, let’s face it, there’s no shortage of stuff like that going around about Overwatch.
Maybe they’ll decide not to do hero bans after all. I hope so, at least.
