I don’t think we need more in the game at the moment.
We can discuss if those abilities should be on damage heroes in the first place, but I do not think it will be healthy to add more stuff like those.

No part of the reason why this game is such a mess is that it has way too many heroes with way to many unique interactions.
The game needs to stay the same for quite some time for players to actually learn all the mechanics and not changed every few months.
I’d be excited either way, but having an additional support option is probably the best part of it since Tank & DPS are already so diverse.
While this would save so many teammates I tell to come back while I’m actively supporting them but they go in deeper, this would only result in resentment; I used to ask for this idea, too, but I see why it’ll never, or at least never should happen.
Ikr? Imagine them giving us a tease of the character style to speculate and develop the next season’s hype for ActiBlizz.
Oh I agree, Yet the devs have stated the new support has an ability that can troll your own teammates so…… the devs clearly do not care about peoples resentment to such things.
Mei being able to wall off your own spawn has literally existed for 7 years at this point. I literally think they do not care if people use it for harassment purposes
In paragon the mechanic wasnt very frustrating to be effected by. If people knew what they were doing it was a lifesaver
They didn’t. They said they will have interesting ways of interacting with their teammates, which is absolutely meaningless since that could also apply to Mercy, Lucio or Ana, for example.

Read it and that’s 1. Not the devs saying it; and 2. Not in any way a suggesting of something as drastic as force teleporting/pulling your teammate toward you, given this person called it ‘light trolling.’ Doing that would not be light.
Don’t get me wrong, though, a long range support with this ability would be cool. Getting teammates out of Terra, Blizzard, or even Grav (please, this thing got overbuffed lol) would be awesome.
I would consider it light trolling.
