Any word about competitive currency?

I’ve been trying to find out what will happen when we go to OW2 with competitive currency, but I can’t find anything.

Will there be a new currency? Will I keep the old currency? Will I even be able to buy gold guns? Do I just need to grind like mad before OW2 to get any last golden gun I want?

The same currency. What we have transfers over. The same golden weapons to buy with it. Unknown if there will be further things to buy with them, but I’ve heard no.

You will carry over all the comp points for gold weapons in OW2. You will earn 10 points for a win and 3 with a draw in OW2 new comp system. JQ, Sojourn and Kiriko have also gold weapons that you can buy.

So just like currently only that wins only reward 10 instead of 15 points but thats mostly to the fact that I think games will be shorter.
