I don’t think we can get any closer to walking war crime than we have with Ramatra, Mauga, and Reaper. I think anything more war crimey would be too edgy for Blizzard.

I mean that’s not off the table, the fact she isn’t using one means a flamethrower user can still be a thing.

Would be funny if it ended up on a junker support.

I want both eventually. I think Anran is likely going to be amazing if they stick with her design from the cinematics. it’s a very cool idea.

But I also wouldn’t mind a big flamethrower tank like Blaze from HOTS one day either. That could also be cool.

Overwatch 2 has an age rating of T for Timidity, wheras Team Fortress 2 has an age rate of M for Mortification.

This is due entirely on the complete lack of pyro in overwatch.

i always thought the flamethrower hero would be an old harley davidson type looking dude with a beard or something. also maybe beer bottles strapped to his belt

But Illari is the lore and gameplay confirmed flame-solar hero. In story “Futures past” she melted the fence mesh. Glowing like in ult state. Also her outburst can burn.
Her fire aspects just aren’t developed well
