Another Mercy rework idea

Caduceus staff:

  • Healing per second increased to 60

Resurrect:

  • Is now an ultimate
  • 15 meter AoE, requires line of sight, blocked by enemy barriers
  • Cast time that increases by 0.4 seconds per person (0.4 seconds for 1 person, 2 seconds for 5 people)
  • No invulnerability, but gives 60 healing per second to Mercy and everyone alive within the AoE for the duration of the cast
  • If someone dies within the AoE after Mercy has already begun casting it, they will not be resurrected and will not affect the cast time

New E ability:

  • Mercy flies backwards in the opposite direction of a targeted ally until she’s 15 meters away from them
  • Can be cancelled early
  • Can use the same hop mechanic as guardian angel
  • Shares the same cooldown with guardian angel (using one will put the other on cooldown as well)

“Guardian angel prefers beam target” setting:

  • New “hybrid” option: while beam is attached to an ally, if no other ally is targeted then guardian angel will fly to the beam target, otherwise it will fly to whichever ally is targeted

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand not gonna happen, just move on, devs will NEVER go back on a rework.

Hm this would actually be a nice option to have in general. A hybrid GA setting where you fly to your beam target if no one else is in range, but as soon as you look at another teamate you can fly to them.
