Ok, come back when that number keeps going up
… specially while playing fewer heroes
Pro tip: that’s not how it works xD

That’s exactly how it works.
Not every single player wins exactly half the games they play overall. If that were true nobody would ever climb SR/MMR. The entirety of those stats posted were from OW1 S2 onward. If you calculate just the heroes I’ve played in OW2 (almost exclusively Pharah/Reaper/Junkerqueen by hours) the winrate is 55.9% but I chose to use the most data possible to show a positive win-rate over 10 years.
I posted actual stats you can check on my profile to disprove your claim. Now YOU try to post something that proves your claim, which should be an interesting trick since all you’ve posted so far is opinion and conjecture.
No it shouldn’t. QP is practice mode for anyone regardless of how seroiusly they take the game. Sounds like you should be playing arcade.
My winrate isn’t 50% either. If you calculate all my QP matches since I created my account it’s more around 55 to 60%. Last season It was around 70% wins on QP, could even be more because I usually had massive winstreaks. I think the issue is caused by the matchmaker is prioritizing speed over quality. They don’t want higher skilled players to wait 20-30mins long. Lower skilled players will often get stomped then as result. Though which I find weird is that I have play very late at night to have a balanced game and that’s when all the casuals go to sleep.
I do feel bad for the players going through massive losstreak. I’m really bad on console and lose a lot so I experience the same thing which makes me not want to play anymore.

Ah yes, meeting people about to raink up for master when you’re in low plat is sooooo wat evemly matched. COMP AND QP ARE THE SAME. There isn’t any choice.
Even in a practice mode you can chill and have fun.
Because you literally dont have to worry about anything - so why are we evolving qp into comp 2.0? And ngl…most of the playerbase isnt into arcade anyway. So, why do we need to play arcade that badly if we’re just casually playing for fun?
Gosh, I hate when people are like: Dont play qp if you wanna have fun - you’re ruining others experience. QP is casual in the end. It was and it still is. And btw…just because someone wants to chill and have fun, they’re still playing the game. There are so many people in real comp who are playing for fun, listening to music or are just chilling. Are they should to switch to arcade now too? Let people play. Its that easy.
Matchmaking is weird atm and thats a fact. But okay, i’m outta here. ![]()
If you get weekly mail from Blizzard tracking your win rates and play times in Overwatch, look at your overall win rate for that week and the weeks prior and average them together to see where your number really sits.
If you’re mostly playing Tanks or Supports, you’re likely to sit with a slightly more positive win rate. If you’re Damage, that win rate is likely to be trending towards 50%, if not slightly positive or negative.
i started out bad this patch with a big loss streak but now im 11 wins and 12 losses on my replay screen so yea…
50/50
the games where i won and loss do seem like stomps or you can tell who would win. there are some surprise matches but the stomps outnumber them for sure it seems like
anyways im playing sombra and tracer every other game. i do that once in a while, was thinking of playing full on tracer but im like i better rotate sombra in there so its sombra one game and tracer the next
Pity to me now the game is even harder as they keep nerfing Kiriko and keep buffing Ana that needed nerfs and not buffs.
well means I just shoot randomly till next patcj
I mean, you’re wrong, but if that’s what you want to believe, that’s fine.
I have nothing to gain on whether you choose to be miserable in QP with the widest possible match making (literally every rank in the game) or if you choose to play Comp.
Play whatever mode you want and tell yourself whatever you need to. Arguing with me or anyone else isn’t going to change your situation or the reality of comp.
I don’t say what I need, I say what i experienced. simple. comp is full of smurfs, so ranks are wide the same., also in comp I’m not free to leave if game is clearly unwinnable.
Can you all try posting something other than conjecture? Hard, verifiable numbers are available to you, as well as logic if you sit and think about what a static win-rate would mean for a moment.
And what happens when we climb?
… welcome to reality
For more information look up for competitive ladders; or, ask Jeff about “there’s gotta be winners and there’s gotta be losers”
Pro Tip #2: it is simple math. Unless of course, you are the very best player in the world; or the worst xD
Pro Tip #3: you can also ask Kraandop about his hard stuck 13% win rate from Season 20
Pro tip #72: don’t worry, he’s fine now xD
QP is going to always have a mix of player skills in a match. That means highly skilled players will maintain a positive win-rate in QP, low skill players will always lose more games than they win overall.
You can look at the data posted to prove that already, you just don’t want to admit that you posted something you can’t back up. Your post is just another forced 50/50 post that’s been debunked repeatedly already.
Not at all
Kaplan was clear about it. And the average profile is saying likewise
… you just trying too hard xD
Never happened
People don’t understand how ladders work. But most important, they tend to believe things to feel they are in control of some sort of parallel universe
You play at our own level. The algorithm knows this better than ourselves
…
This things always reminds me of the tricks we play to get away with fantasy
What’s the best time to play comp?
xD
You carry, and you play payload princess
You win, and you lose
Quick edit. Please do notice that I never said anything about being hard stuck or Elo Hell
I mean, even ML7 drops to Masters ever season
Comp is not “full of smurfs”, so you aren’t experiencing that. Sure they exist, but you certainly aren’t running into them often and definitely no where near as often as having wide ranked, uneven matches in QP.
You are saying what you need to make you feel better about your game play.
Again, I have nothing at stake in this. I’m not saying any of this for my benefit. You do you. If you want to convince yourself of a lie that Comp is the same match making quality as QP and then complain that QP is miserable for you, then ok. That’s fine with me.
Nobody is saying that. You act like the sweats are trying to dictate how you play QP but it’s quite the opposite. All I ever see about QP complaints is casual players complaining that skilled players are playing the mode. Nobody gets to dictate how QP is played. Not you or the sweats. Everyone plays QP for different reasons. It’s a melting pot of all types of players. This is why I’m suggesting you play arcade if you want more casual games because it has the most amount of casual players.
