But not by having to face a single support every single game. It shouldn’t be that tank picks hog/mauga and the enemy support will ALWAYS pick Ana. There is an obviously broken interaction if that is the case - which it is currently outside of masters/GM.
Just like sombra vs. certain heroes is a broken interaction as well if she is always picked, like against Widow currently.
I think they buffed her damage against armor by 30% so she already got humongous buffs.
Ngl she is by far the biggest reason i don’t play tank. It’s really stupid when you think about it. She can match an enemy tank just by herself. I think it’s fair against tanks like Doom, Winston and Ball but not others. Dev team really do a poor job in general.
They’ve steadily nerfed literally everything else except for what SHOULD be nerfed.
They even nerfed the DPS passive against Tanks before they nerfed Ana’s anti-heal!
This Support favouritism has gone way too far.
Bap has no utility? What’s immortality field? He’s literally the best support in the game rn. And Illari was meta before pylon nerf. Utility doesn’t matter when you can have insane uptime on off angles.

Getting rid of her weakness so raid boss tanks can have even less things to worry about isn’t healthy balance. Anti is barely more than a nuisance to most tanks now. She punishes tanks that only know how to hold w m1 in the most predictable basic positions. GOOD
I don’t think those tanks will find much sympathy from most players
Haven’t seen a single good reason ever why sleep dart or anti nade needs to be weaker on dps. Only way to satisfy metal rank tanks and keep Ana viable would be to rebalance power budget toward squishies. But here come the complaints from metal rank dps now
I did a vod review of a metal rank tank who claimed he got slept naded killed constantly. He got slept 0 times in 10 minutes and died to nade 2 times in 10 minutes. One was when he jumped on both supports as Winston with half hp no bubble. Second was when he played down mid in front of entire enemy team as hog.
Then proceeded to switch to Rein and kept sending it 1v5 into the enemy team. Then claims he was throwing because Ana existing means there’s no point playing so he’s going to feed.
This is the kind of player we’re trying to balance for here

Right, remember when Ana could 3 shot squishies and that was too much damage despite it requiring nobody getting healed or ducking behind cover for over 2 seconds?
Because the game should be balanced around high diamond and above. Below that nobody plays their hero optimally so you are balancing for player skill.

Sure, but consideration has to be given for problems in lower ranks. Tanks will not stick around to get to diamond and above if a single hero is chasing them away. Oh look, at higher ranks there’s a huge shortage of tanks. I wonder why that could be? Perhaps because in metal ranks people are stopping playing tank before they climb out. And I wonder why that might be? But let’s ignore it and just have no tanks climbing.
Removing anti nade altogether won’t solve your fantasy of Ana single handedly removing the overwatch tank player base.
You are just a hog player who thinks every tank gets hard countered by Ana with no counter play. But they should do it and when tank problem invariably doesn’t get solved anti nade should come back gigabuffed.

Ana is probably the worst hero in the game relative to play rate. She’s in every game and makes tank miserable, meanwhile playing with an Ana is also hell because they ignore teammates fighting right next to them to pretend to be a sniper, hard scoping in and missing every shot. There isn’t a single match of Overwatch that wouldn’t be improved by removing the Ana (or both of them, since she’s mirrored in every game).
Exhibit A of why I call these takes metal rank takes. Useless Ana players miss every shot but roll every tank. Genius metal rank logic
Ana doesn’t affect my Tank pick 1 bit since the tank buffs. We can delete her way way way easier now than she can do to us. And we have all the ehp and cooldowns now to shrug off her abilities. Oh no, a 14 second cooldown on her Anti, good thing I’ve got flight and matrix up every 4-6 seconds as Dva. I can dive her almost 3 times before she has a single cooldown back and hold matrix pretty much the entire time.
With the power level of tanks now, it’s honestly embarrassing for people to say they need more, or DPS/supports are too strong. Lol, give me a break. We’re tanks. 2/3 of the roster can’t even interact with us we have so much ehp/DPS. The only thing we need to fear is multiple ults thrown at us. Seriously, with two decent supports there’s no combination of normal fire(aside from maybe Bastion) that can kill us.
