Ana makes this game unbearable as a tank

She was an enabler of goats. She wasn’t a Tracer counter in any direct form. As a Tracer player, I know the distance that is 7.5 m. That is my blink distance. I know it by heart. Cuz of blink and melee finishes.

Her shield bash was never an issue unless I was sloppy and let her close that gap. I only have myself to blame for that. Her heal was a pain in the a to burn thru, but at that point where she’s applying it to my target I was better off putting my focus elsewhere.

Brig RUINED everyone else on the roster tho. I can blink and recall, I dictate the distance of engagement thru my mobility. Tanks couldn’t. So all this stuff that should have shut down Tracer was just used towards everyone else. Meanwhile, my brig could pocket me and keep me stacked in heals and armor from a distance allowing me to erase backlinks unless there was a collective effort to stop me.

That’s how Brig 1.0 played out.

Yeah she could. Shield also had 600 health. Repair packs provided armor.

And people around here argued she was balanced and necessary. This forum is so detached from reality.

or at least give more options than kiriko, anna’s nade revert the anti, healing works but slower, I don’t know, there’s so many way to make it bearable

Based off what I’ve read here, they’ve probably never even seen the overly generous hitbox tbh - they just come off as smug and annoying :man_shrugging:

Ana is great. Current anti is not even a huge threat because Kiriko’s protection suzu exists.

Suzu only exists because anti has always been such a threat, it’s the hard counter to the hard counter. Because of this we’re now stuck in a situation where Ana and Kiriko are both essential picks in pretty much every match and it makes very little room for the rest of the Support roster to see meaningful play outside of Mercy breaking Sojourn.

Yea Ana kinda started the whole powercreep thing. The game started with only zen mercy lucio as the “healers” (and symmetra in support) and mercy healed the most with 50hps with the drawback of not doing damage easily, and then ana came in with the 80 healing per shot rifle and bionade, which increased healing by 100% back then, and as a result the triple tank meta in season 3 i think started

All this forum whining is making it unbearable to find anything useful to read on this forum.

Oh wait - every hero does what it has to do only you as tank not… seems issue is between your keyboard and chair.
Your reaction time is poor and you blame on forum, what a :clown_face:.

  • if you play any tank with shield = your own fault, bad reaction time
  • if you play DF/JQ/Hog = Ana is you natural counter in support line = your fault, you hiting wall with head, bad decision, bad player

i main ana and i must say , although looking at a charging rein tank and have no ability to counter it is scary , sleep is still busted af , but there is nothing you can do when high mobility and tank one shot abilities exist in the game , maybe sleep should be 2 seconds long ?
