Ana skill lies in keeping herself alive. Keeping others alive is easy lol.
I always like when people say “Oh I can play Ana without even bothering to aim”
Then you look at their stats on the hero, and they’re literally Bronze/ QP levels
Brig requires more skill
Not really. The main difference is aim, and anyone can be good at that.
Brig’s Repair Pack definitely needed a nerf but her shield nerfs were unnecessary, leave it to Blizzard to go overboard as usual. If anything she actually might get nerfed AGAIN due to how the Repair Pack nerf actually lets her soak up more ult charge.
No she doesn’t…
Whining one-tricks are funny. Also Ana has the high pick rate and win rate not because she is OP but because she fits in very well with the two most popular comps Brawl and Bunker and is often seen on both sides of a match. Brig got nerfed because the repair pack was making squishy DPS too powerful. Being a Brig one-trick, you’d think the OP would know that.
I have over 100 hours on Ana.
While that may be true (and people exaggerate the skill she takes), it does not give her an excuse to be this dominant for nearly a year only to get a 5 HPS nerf and a slightly nerf on her sleep dart that effectively did nothing.
to play ana right you really have to be 100 percent more focused than moira or mercy, brig on the other hand in my opinion at her current stat is more complicated than playing moira or mercy. she really has to be aware of her position at all times
Not how pickrate works. Ana’s 11.56% pickrate means that there is a 69.36% chance of being played on both teams (it could also mean a >130% chance of being played on either team but it doesn’t make much sense)
On top of the cc rework across the board that did away with her 3 combo on slept target’s. That’s a pretty significant nothing you’re downplaying.
Fun is subjective.
No doubt that players who like to shoot, will be very likely selecting Supports like Ana, Baptiste & Zenyatta.
I’m sure Brig needs more skill now, unlike her fresh new days.
They both needed nerfs, Ana just dodged them… again.
It clearly didn’t do much. I barely notice the difference, and the combo on slept targets still works, it’s just hit-nade-hit-punch. People can get away a little bit easier, but you can still combo them to kill them.
Except. It doesn’t. Not reliably anymore. They removed the natural wake up animation that gave you the few extra frames capable of performing it properly before escape abilities could be used.
And ok, but there is a major difference. Whether you notice it personally is irrelevant.
I play a lot of both Anna and Brig and I dont find that Anna takes significantly more skill than Brig, similar levels
Ana is what all should supports should be brought up to be as powerful as.
She is what a Support should be: Fun, Balanced, and Impactful.
Sure, antinade is a little oppressive, but it is not inherently Overpowered. Rather, it is lacking proper counterplay by other supports. Giving another Support a cleanse ability or something of the like would solve that issue and allow a support to actually have a counterplay option against antinade.
So once that issue is resolved in such a matter, she will be perfect. In which instance all other supports should be buffed to her level as well so as to make the Support category feel GOOD again instead of the “baby sit me and ill delay your death a bit” role.
Brigitte did not deserve the nerfs, and her trashing has led to me adding another tally to the “Overwatch Developers” Sin Total" Board
they should make the application of harmony orb cleanse the target… and if its too powerful put an internal Cd on it so it can only cleanse once every 3 secs or something. then you have the weakest healer an option to counter Anna nades
Sure, Kaz. Such a significant difference that it did nothing to stop her dominance.

I main Brig, & while she doesn’t require much aim, she most certainly requires game sense & positioning to be valuable to her team. Positioning is a fine line between value & feeding. I take pride in dying very little in my games (top 95 percentile on Overbuff) but at the same time you have to deal damage to keep Inspire active. Yes I did pre-pack my diving teammates, so I’ve had to force myself to be more reserved on the packs after the nerfs. Having a solid Brig on your team in the right comp scenario is very valuable. It shows from the card I get in most of my games. Landing whip shot is the same skill as Hog’s hook.
