Okay, here are my personal thoughts for support roles because I am flex support mains.
Mercy= BAD. I rather keep the the old valkyrie preset in the current patch. Rez and flying movement is so slow. I dislike how mini valk ability, hard to heal everyone. Ult charges for ultimate rez takes so slow to build up. So it’s a no for me. When you about to use your ultimate rez, it feels very choppy. it’s keep flickers between 1 or 2 between teammates when their dead bodies is close to each other.
Ana= BEST BUFF in years. I really like the buff for ana. sleeping the torb turret. The reload helps a lot when you need adjust your position during mid-fight.
Zen= BEST BUFF on new passive of Elevation! I love it! I can get into high ground more often or move out the away from flankers. Best idea for Zen. Please keep that in the next patch.
Moria= I do not like nerf on Biotic Orb. It was hard to push that use Biotic Orb out during mid fight. to heal your allies between enemy shields. Holding and clicking it feels too much time consuming.
Brigitte: Okay, but I don’t mind the nerf of inspire. it’s still pretty op. Her damage buff is a bit nice to control flankers around.
Lucio: Indifference, but the changes are nice. I don’t mind it. So it will be good buff for lucio mains.
Symmertra: I am sorry, but she needs to go back to damage. I rather her as damage character than support character. I was hoping the mini shield heal agility would be back because that would help as her as support character. Turrets healing is really weird. I wasn’t used to it.
Baptisite: OKAY, but could been better. I dislike the cooldowns for baptise’s exo boots. Feels too slow. I dislike it. The immorality field: I am cool with it, despite it’s nerf. It’s has been op since the beginning. I prefer they buff his healing back and nerf damage. that would be great.
I’ve been wanting the Ashe coach gun and Bap immo field changes from this patch forever. immo no longer buffs sustain but still counters burst ultimates and I feel the coach gun boop is just super corny and feels bad when the best counters to hitscans are diving them
Even if you don’t want to buff Resurrect on the Experimental, it could at the very least use these QoL fixes/mini-buffs so it works the way it does on live and is a lot less clunky.
- Teammate respawn timers get paused while reviving, so your ability isn’t just deleted when you try to res someone close to respawning (It works this way on live, with Resurrect on E)
- LoS check only applies at the beginning of the cast (It works this way on live, with Resurrect on E)
- Range check only applies at the beginning of the cast, or is at least a less strict range during the cast time (It already has a cast time and short range to make it less powerful than old Mass Res, why should the smallest boop cancel a whole ultimate that takes about 2 to 3 times longer to charge than Valkyrie does? Plus, the range can get iffy with a cast time and more than 1 dead teammate to consider, making Mercy have to stay still in very tiny and oddly specific areas - for 1.75s - to be in the overlap range of teammates that are just barely close enough. Additionally, Resurrect on E somewhat works this way on live, with the range to begin the cast being 5m but the range to break the cast being 6m.)
I know, the community feedback during that patch was overwhelmingly positive and some considered it the best experimental of them all, probably because the balance changes were an answer to people’s frustration about the problems in the game. And unironically many of the changes which were not added to live game yet would be good for 5v5
FINALLY! Tanks will actually be able to do something for once
Its about as helpful as getting streamers with no clue about game design (but think they know everything) to alter game mechanics

All that happened was McCree was reverted to his “machine gun” stats and spam the hammer was removed.
Rose-tinted nostalgia goggles were in full effect for that one.
Now that tanks are playable again due to the fact that they can now deal damage, I can finally give some feedback on this patch.
Reinhardt is an unkillable monster and the multiple-people pin is hilarious.
Zarya is an unkillable monster. Great stuff.
Orisa’s movement speed feels great and the kidnap-halt should make it to retail. The current live version of Halt is disliked by a lot of people, so it’d just be a net positive. The ultimate change is meh.
Sigma is pretty good. I wish the primary fire was less spammy and required more aiming. So lower rate of fire, higher damage for Sigma would be neat.
Wrecking Ball is kinda meh, the blind is just not a good addition.
Roadhog can no longer frontline like a tank. I’ve usually used the Breather for frontline tanking; like a Zarya bubble. The big self heal helped to remove pressure from my supports so they could focus on other things. He plays way more like what I suspect Brigitte to play like. Roadhog will get higher value the higher the skill of the players in the team are, I expect he can become really oppressive as an anti-diver.
Of the D.va changes I really like the slow fall. Spaceship D.va is really fun, I wish there was a toggle option for slow fall so I didn’t have to hold down my spacebar the entire time I was playing her. Floating around and flying around felt natural and fun. Like, really fun. Put it in the game.
Winston is really solid. I wish that the “charge up punch” was on another button since the regular punching feels a bit slower to fire. Like it’s waiting to see if you’re charging before slapping.
All in all a very fun patch. Everybody likes when Rein Zarya is strong. Winston can be played. Spaceship D.va and Kidnap-Orisa is just fun as hell.
For the non tank heroes:
Genji’s double dash makes him twice as annoying as he already is.
Symmetra’s healing feels pretty lackluster
Cassidy is OPPRESSIVE. It’s hard to tell that tanks are more survivable when there’s a Cass on the enemy team. Really, really, really unfun to play against.
Hope that holds true whenever OW2 beta invites go out. Some of us are hyper-critical and should just be invited without having to wait just saying.
I’ve been playing the EXC card here and there.

The change to mercy makes her feel as though she can cover everything needed, as well as it takes away part of the aspect of “pocket mercy” not healing
