The Porsche SUVs/crossovers get into that range but they start in the low 60s. Which like, is expensive, but not anymore expensive than the giant trucks and SUVs Americans love so much. Many of those TODDLER FLATTENER 350000 ULTRA XTREME TRX DENALI LONE STAR PLATINUM trucks are probably in the 75-110k range, and I see dozens of them every time I leave the house. Probably because Iâm in Texas so I see them more than most people, but Iâm sure land yachts like Suburbans and Navigators are pretty common in other states.
Porsches are very nice cars, but generally itâs wise to market stuff that the target demographic can afford. And Porsche isnât it.
When people buy car calendars or model cars or go to car shows, theyâre doing it to see cool cars, not a Nissan Sentra or Chevy Bolt. What Blizz is selling is more like those things than the actual car, and Porsche is surely getting a cut. Fancy car brands are as much a brand unto themselves as actual car manufacturers.

Tbh, with a few exceptions, most whales Iâve been acquainted with were the very opposite of wealthy. They just had no self-control and/or nothing real going on in their life, pretty tragic really.

My guess: Some Porsche marketing guy schmoozed someone at ActiBlizz to get this deal. 
$20 here and there for skins is not whaling though, itâs light spending- theyâre dolphins.
Iâve seen whales on gacha games spend hundreds just to get character and weapon duplicates

To me, its a âFantasyâ skin. Perhaps part of the OW2 demographic wants to feel rich so this is the easiest way? Perhaps this collab is for players who want to look and feel wealthy but cant in real-life.
I hope the collab trend extends into the future and Ferrari, Lamborghini and McLaren follow suit (excuse the pun 
). Thatâd be awesome because those are vehicles companies I do fantasize about owning/driving someday.

Well yeah, but I was referring to the actual real whales who are regularly dropping hundreds or even thousands in a month. Although, I doubt OW has too many around.
