Americas Server not connecting

Haven’t been able to connect to the Americas server at all today. I can connect to the Europe Server. Every time I get to the login screen it says “Lost Connection to Game Server”. I’ve tried resetting my PC and battle.net but I still can’t get in.

I am having the same issue.

Hey y’all,

Lets run a traceroute to our authentication servers: us.actual.battle.net

Note, put the url I mentioned aboive in place of the IP address according to the tracert guide.

Be sure to put it in quotes like this!

Thanks!

I tried it with no luck. I used

us.actual.battle net ((this is spaced because I can’t put a link in the reply))
as well as the IP address from the tracert guide
us.patch.battle net ((this is spaced because I can’t put a link in the reply))
I’m still unable to login to Americas.

Started a “scan and repair” update from battle net options. Update complete. Issue persist.

Mine too , I guess i will move to the EU server

If you’re having issues please be sure to post the traceroute results that were requested above.

The results? So the information on the TXT file that was created? Like this below?

Yep just like that

alright I put spaces before the net because it counts as a link with the .net

Overall the results look fine. I’d like to look into setting up Google DNS and see if that helps. Info on that can be found here.

If you have the option we can try testing with a different network. If you have a phone and data plan that supports it, we can try setting up a USB tether to test over a mobile connection.

Thank you! Alright I set up the Google DNS proper settings and still can’t connect.

I was, however, able to use my phone as a hotspot to connect to the Americas Server.
What could be my issue? I’ve been using the same internet/WIFI for the last two weeks but I just now have this issue of not connecting.

If the mobile connection is working and there haven’t been any changes to the router\modem settings, then this would generally indicate that there’s something going on between the computer and the servers. Its possible there may have been some change on the ISP’s end that’s not showing up in the connection tests. Would probably recommend contacting them to see if there’s anything going on their end. When contacting the service provider we do generally recommend trying to get it escalated to a higher tier tech.
