Am I wrong to say the team average MMR is an issue on Role Queue?

I think SR could be a good metric for even matches… I think that it isnt because the measurement of a gold tank and support doesnt match the measurement of a gold DPS.

I also note that the game also changes difficulty as your rank number goes up. I just flipped over the number… so now Im going diamond border +1 rather than diamond border +99. The difficulty of games has always been tied to that.

And the measurement is just a numbers thing… 3 bell curves should have the same respondents to match

So let’s say your on a hot streak and your dps… if your mmr increases by a “notch”, would the system need to average down your team in another role?

For example, dps is high so the tanks have to be low. Using basic numbers and a scale from 1-7
Dps: 5
Dps:5
Tank:3
Tank:3
Support:1
Support:5
Average: 3.6

Vs a team like:
Dps 2
Dps 2
Tank 5
Tank 5
Support 5
Support 3
Average: 3.6

Both teams have an average of 3.6 but on team is a dps diff vs tank diff.

What really sucks is that mmr may not even have all skill base variables. It could be ping. So imagine you having a tank diff in the game just cause you have a high ping.
