I hope they will rework Mercy - you cant buff this full autoaim charakter to be at the same level with other supports.
I hope they rework her too. I’d love if they gave her an aimed utility abillity, made DPSing more apart of her kit, and removed Rez and gave her a new E ability.
Let her shoot stuff out of her staff. Let her have a divine-star from WoW type ability where she shoots out a projectile that boomerangs back to her. Idk. Something fun and interesting.
I played Mercy quite a bit in the last few weeks of OW1 and had a good time, since the launch of OW2 I have played her in maybe 3 matches and felt like she was a throw pick.
Her healing is so weak and she has nothing to defend herself against the constant pressure from flankers.

Just doing my job 
I just had another game with a good Mercy and you’d be surprised how many times Doom and Reaper tried to jump her and nobody turned around to help her but me, the other support.
It makes everyone’s life easier if you just help your Mercy. Go pick her up at spawn when she dies if you can.

You’ll get flamed for being mercy now for contributing 0(zero) damage to the game. Yeah that scoreboard is going to be your best friend.
The GA buff is a step in the right direction. As of now, the biggest outlier in Mercy’s kit for OW2 is Res. I genuinely think it’s unreasonably suicidal in the vast majority of circumstances.
Since Valk is also a very lacking ultimate, they could try to buff Resurrect whilst in Valkyrie. Maybe a CD or Charge Time buff? Replacing the ability entirely could also work. I’m all for giving Mercy some sort of burst heal or cleanse.

I’ve gotten so used to Mercy being nerfed into the ground every other week that I just ignore it.
I don’t understand why Blizzard has such a hard time getting her into a good spot
tbh i dont feel like mercy is that bad especially now that she has that new guardian angel it has been such a lifesaver for me and i didnt expect that bcuz i was used to the old ga and superjump, i dont play in my main account bcuz there’s some bug that doesnt allow me to play and they havent fixed it yet so im playing from my second acc which was placed high plat in i dont remember what season bcuz i havent played there for ages and now im placed at gold bcuz of the way the new rank works so ig im not really a pro tho i do believe i play a good mercy, so im gonna speak about the lower ranks and quickplay, as far as ive seen her kit for me seems fine not unplayable but boring bcuz of the fact that she cant make impact instantly or pull some big plays, i wish they would buff her or rework/revert her they way she is supposed to be but if they dont i dont think id stopped playing her bcuz i enjoy her new gameplay but i dont think she is gonna get buffed anytime soon bcuz blizzard hate her, they even nerfed her in total mayhem when she rezzes her target is rezzed at 40-50% health like what?
thats seem like a cool idea although i would prefer the old mass rez cuz it looked pretty tho isnt any kind of mass rez going to be op in a 5v5?

If you like mercy, play mercy. Who gives af what some cringe rando is typing in chat. Mute and report for toxicity. Better yet, you can turn off the text and voice chat in the options. Competitive is so much more peaceful that way. :]

Blizz’s only “philosophy” is to get Bobby another Yacht. They either do not care about or even hate the players of their games, on that one I am not too sure yet.

I was around. That version of the ult was a lot more busted imo because she was getting valk combined with my proposed mass rez. Almost like two ults in one. It was a wild time.
well then it was actually an ult and then they nerfed to hard its one of the weakest ults rn but i cant stop thinking about ur idea, ive been dreaming of getting mass rez back since they took it away from me like this

One of my biggest complains right now as a mercy main is she was decent at best in OW1 and she now is worse in OW2 simply because of one main issue her kit has, her rez ability.
OW1’s Self Stun rez could easily beat OW2 simply because atleast there was two tanks that COULD possibly shield you but now in OW2 with one less tank, her self-stun ability is just felt waayy worst. Even as a a mercy spammer i have never felt bad at choosing mercy simply because i know if i pick her at OW2 my co-support will have a harder time. I do feel sorry and know you do not deserve getting hate especially when playing on QP, but during competitive play it’s hard not to agree when mercy is truly in such a bad state and that is coming from me who has hours and hours of competitive mercy hours.
Although she definitely needs help, i cannot help but be honest and OW2 mercy just feels refreshingly more fun, albeit being so bad.

Yeah, Valk seems mediocre now. Even when she’s damage boosting the whole team, there are other support ults that can just plain out-sustain it.

People are always blaming the heals. Just try not to die alot. Mercy can easily do over 1,200 heals per minute. If you’re failing at those 2 things you’re useless as mercy. The resurrect is the most OP skill but so risky. Bringing back your tank is the number one priority, and idc if i die in the process. If you die, you regroup with your tank anyway.
If we’re talking competitively here, mercy is not a good pick. I think the Lucio and Brig is the best combo now, with a JQ tank
