Curse you SMS Protect. You had one job ![]()
I stand by that statement, actually. She is garbage. She is a reverse Sombra. She wins games despite being really bad. Sombra loses games despite being really good. It honestly makes no sense, but I stick by that sentiment.
100% swing accuracy.
I can record a replay later if you want. My last 10 replays are all wins lol. And I donât really pop off or anything on Brig. I just stay alive, and that has huge impact
The experience of one random is meaningless.
Statistically, the same would have happened if you played Zen or Ana.
Brigitte is bad out of GOATs.
inb4 someone says brig is weak lmao
brig wins by hornswoggling sr from people who want to play their fav skill characters more than they want to win.
Your acquaintance got lucky twice. OP got lucky over and over again to the point where they are now so lucky they are accidentally beating T500 players. Over, and over again. These situations are totally different.
Theyâre not accidently beating T500 players. They were already T500 material before, they just played a hero worse than Brig.
Ah, but they played 1k+ hours of that hero and almost no Brig. Then they picked up Brig and eclipsed all of that time in 30 hours of Brig. So unless you are going to argue that sombra is THAT much worse than Brig it still points to Brig being pretty easy to play.
Firstly, just because youâre good with a hero doesnât make them overpowered or unbalanced.
Second, youâre comparing your Sombra to your Brig. Donât.
Lastly, Tanks and Supports need more filling, so itâs basically the simple fact youâre playing a support means youâre able to âcarry betterâ because youâre actually fitting in to the team better.
Yeah Iâm genuinely curious. I never really see anyone playing Brig anymore after most of her nerfs unless itâs in a GOATS scenario which is even more rare.
Can I also ask if you notice a difference in how people treat you as a teammate when you pick Brig vs Sombra?
Sombra is bottom 3rd in winrate in GM at 50.95%, Brig is in the middle of the pack at 54.21% winrate. So yes, Iâm going to argue Sombra is that much worse than Brig.
Sombra is completely dependant on how her team uses her abilities, this is less the case for the Swedish lady.
Their winrate on Sombra last season is 51%. Which is the average. 1000 hours cannot compensate for the lack of teamwork, which Sombra desperately needs to be effective.
She destroyed this game. On a scale that not even mercy managed to do after rework.
the problem could have been reverted a couple of months ago. But now itâs too late to even do that.
Low winrate, high winrate, low pickrate or high pickrate, balanced or unbalanced, her presence in this game alone changed things to a scale that shook this game for years to come in the worst way imaginable.
All because blizzard wanted dive out of meta.
Proofs that you are a very good player in the first place, but are others able to do the same - is she op?
Iâm definitely not able to do the same on other heroes. I can maintain around 4.3k with Sombra since I have so much time on her, and I can get 4.5k with Brig since sheâs really that strong. Iâm hardly GM with most other heroes though
Iâm not saying OP got lucky. Thereâs GM and T500 players of most heroes. Itâs not basis for anything. Kolorblind doesnât show Bastion is fine, Stevoo doesnât show Sym is fine, Dafran doesnât show Soldier is fine.
Theyâre anecdotal examples and have no bearing on whether or not something is âfineâ.
Brigitte is actually bound to be strong in comp. she can tank and heal. Which is always lacking in comp
Because Sombra is one of the hardest hero to make work on a consistent basis.
Edit: Also a 1000 hours on Sombra is insane xD
I got a fourth of that and i would consider myself playing her alot.
You just switched from one of the most skill demanding heroes and probably most team dependent, to one totally opposite and also a Support/Tank, which we so often miss in our games.
I rather see a problem with Sombra being weak here, than Brig being too strong. As you said: You are no 1 Brig right now.
