I am posting this from a second Blizzard account because my affected Overwatch account, Diva#21489, is unable to create a new topic in the Technical Support forum.
The affected account consistently receives the “UNEXPECTED SERVER ERROR OCCURRED” error when trying to log in to Overwatch.
This appears to be account-specific:
- Other Overwatch accounts work normally on the same PC and network.
- Diva#21489 does not work through Battle.net.
- Diva#21489 does not work through Steam.
- The affected account also fails on different devices and different networks.
- I have already changed the account password.
- I have already completed the recommended troubleshooting steps.
- Blizzard Game Master support confirmed that there are no account restrictions causing this error.
There is also another account-specific issue with the forum itself. On the exact same PC, browser, and Technical Support forum, my second Blizzard account has the “New Topic” button, while Diva#21489 does not have this button at all.
Because of this, I cannot follow Blizzard Support’s instruction to create a Technical Support post using the affected account. The Game Master specifically instructed me to use this second account to make this post instead.
Could the Overwatch Technical team please investigate Diva#21489 specifically and check why this account is unable to authenticate/connect to Overwatch?
I can provide screenshots showing the difference between the two accounts if needed.
