Abysmal Flash, Push and Clash mode are Call of Duty Lite

Compare the abysmal maps from Flash, Push and Clash mode that require no teamwork and IQ to Hanamura, Volksaya Industry and Temple of Anubis that became the icon of OW.

It’s baffling how they’ve wasted all their resources on those brain dead modes. It’s literally Call of Duty lite that should only belong to Arcade mode.

No, only clash sucks out of these three.

Push and flashpoint are quintessentially Overwatch, and are some of the best modes in the game. People just don’t know how to flipping play them, so they throw most of their games

You say that like goldeneye was even the first one

I refuse to play any Clash lobby. Its an insta leave for me.

All 3 are insta leaves for me. If I join late and can’t, I don’t even care about getting the temp block anymore. Over OW2’s lifetime it’s become exceedingly easy to just put the game down for a few days.

While you might not like those maps or modes, they play nothing like call of duty.

I can’t leave for obvious reason but my motivation is not the same and don’t care if i’m losing at all.

Back and forth like braindead zombies.

Which is the same as COD.

GoldenEye was just a clone of Maze Wars confirmed.

Throne of anubis is the most close quarter map it’s noob hero haven, not hitscans

2cp was literally what clash is but the last two points, with annoying af chokes. 5cp is superior

Clash literally requires more coordination than other modes, that’s why it’s hated so much. Timing fights wrong or being in the ‘deathmatch’ mindset can very easily cost you the next point on Clash.

2Cap was the least teamwork/strategy oriented mode as Defense just had to sit on point and wait for Attackers to show up and Attackers just needed to decisively win 2-3 fights, which was easy done by banking ults or just saying “DPS go kill” and keep trying until they did.

Nope. CoD is specifically map flipping.

Where you push enemy spawn in hopes of flipping the spawn and sides of the map.

Ow is Nothing like cod.

You do not want to flip the map unless it is poorly designed and one side has an advantage over the other. It’s better to just trap them in their spawn and control the objective/map.

Disagree. However, the point is that they do not play the same way because the mechanical flow are so far apart.

They are essentially claiming that since both games have wasd they are similar.

I concur. Personally speaking, Push has pushed its way past Control to the top of my favorite modes.
