Yes, ban/suspend them. This is not a tough concept. It’s clear the children who abuse people in an online game haven’t had any sort of discipline growing up.

I don’t have a mic plugged in and in vc and match chat. I don’t care if it’s anything from slurs, gamer words, calling people trash, just being a rude and hateful person. It all gets reported. Even if I completely agree with you, still reporting.
Go complain to Blizzard and ask they change their tos
Communication
When participating in communication of any kind (chat, voice communication, group finder), you are responsible for how you express yourself. You may not use language that could be offensive or vulgar to others.
Hate speech and discriminatory language is inappropriate, as is any obscene or disruptive language. Threatening or harassing another player is always unacceptable, regardless of language used. Violating any of these expectations will result in account restrictions. More serious and repeated violations will result in greater restrictions.
there is nothing Nostalgic about me dealing with toxic people in video games for the last …15 years? I told you I blocked or muted or ignored their antics. Thats what everyone did back then and now people are complaining about it EVEN THO they have the same options we have always had. If someone is bad enough there is even a report system in the game that will mute them from VC and eventually ban their account if reports continue.
Beyond what we already have I dont see a solution, and no one is proposing anything, yet thats not stoping the complaining. You might as well be complaining about Rain when we have been given umbrellas and rain jackets.
I care about this topic. You just continue to troll with nonsensical points. I’m not winning any points or money from this. I comment on principle that people shouldn’t be garbage to each other.
I understand that you’re okay with that though. Though it’s clear that you care because yet again, you’re still here.
There is no perfect solution if that is what you’re looking for, but punishing certain behaviors tends to effectively prevent said behaviors from occurring as often in a video game.
