About Lifeweaver…

thats like…with every ability. wasting an ability is not the same as using it to help the enemy. pull is the only ability that can actually throw. this and maybe mei wall your tank but this is super rare. unless you count hooking dva bombs or smth extremely rare and unlucky.

In general, sure. But you have to consider each hero’s kit. Kiriko doesn’t have a “throw ability”. Her wasting her very long cooldown IS her throw ability.
Much like Mercy having low healing output + res. Another support might have used an immortality ability, or grip, Mercy can res instead.
In Overwatch, mistakes cost you teamfights and kill your allies. You either make positive impact or negative impact. This is how heroes have been balanced since the beginning of the game.

Nah, I’m gripping you.

I sure do love being rezed in a lost team fight mid enemy team and staggering for 15+ extra seconds its one of my favorite past times actually.

Especially when you’re being hardcountered by multiple people and trying to switch, I’m sure :dancer:

I’ve quite literally never ran into griefing LW players before. My friend has ran into one. All of this since his release. Idk what you or your team is doing to constantly illicit griefing from LW, but it rarely ever happens.

I’m curious if people are confusing accidental/bad grips as grief grips, which they absolutely are not. It was just a misjudged grip and you’re just going to have to get over that it’s in the game and those scenarios can happen. You’ll feel better the less you intentionally try to dislike or hate something, especially in life saving situations.

It rarely ever happens to you, rather

It happens quite often to me

The griefing i am speaking of is not life saving

It is griefing

Blabla stop whining and inventing yourself a reality just cuz you hate Lifeweaver, griefing grips just don’t exist, Lifeweavers grip when you are in a dangerous situation or they are reloading and therefore can’t heal you and it is evident that you will die otherwise. Don’t understand why? Then get over it and thanks your Lifeweaver for saving you.

All heroes have the ability to throw, whether they got an ability or not XD Let’s be serious please

Im not “inventing” anything

I am griefed regularly and frequently via grip

Griefing grips do exist

Yes you are inventing, griefing grips literally do not exist, you just say this out of spite, I play DPS, I play tank, I also play quite a bit of many supports including Lifeweaver and never has a Lifeweaver actually griefed me with a grip, they always helped me retreat faster and get out of stressful situations even if it’s to go back in immediately it still helped cool off abit to go again, and I’m playing this game since 6 years

Grips can be and are used for griefing, actually

But one is welcome to believe in fiction if one wants.

There is nothing invented by me here. Teammates with ill intentions do exist, and they do grief. Before grip, icewall and teleport were the most oft-used griefing tools

There is no spite on my part…i just dont want to be griefed

If anything you call those grips griefing because you don’t understand why you were gripped :stuck_out_tongue:

If you think you are losing games because your team mates have ill intentions aha

BTW all your other teammates can grief you even if they don’t have a grip ability

As i have already clarified, i have played this game for many years and am quite familiar with what griefing is

Grip is being used grief players.

I have experienced it myself, and seen it done to others as well

With that now fully clarified, i wont be addressing this item with you any further in this side conversation

Doesnt matter how often you repeat it, doesnt make it a reality, are you trying to start a career as fictional writer? If you get gripped so often then ohgod what a nightmare it must be for lifeweavers seeing you grief their games by always being out of position

That’s a lot, but I think it could be condensed for practicality.

Instant swap between heals and thorns

15 seconds on LGrip, and it cleanses negative effects

Those two changes would bump his power level up considerably.

I am glad that people enjoy LW, but, as a console player, I really dislike playing him. This is not only because of that initial comically bad release which proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that no one ever tested LW on a controller, but I have always felt that his “charge to heal” feels REALLY bad on a controller’s trigger. Sure, I can change it to a face button, but then I would be fundamentally changing how LW works versus other heroes, so I would rather just play heroes who do not need that kind of workaround to feel good to play.

Would changing his “charge to heal” alter his playstyle identity too much? It might feel less bad to get more out of full charging his healing versus doing the quick partial charge and release.

I ask again that the personal attacks cease

The only person doing attacks here is you
