After a round you say GR
End the game with GG
The only possible way these are toxic is if GR/GG is used prematurely.
If you have a problem with people showing sportsmanship then maybe multiplayer games aren’t for you.

Well when you are playing below your peak you can tell a game is over mid match bc you’ve lost every team fight
I mean you don’t have to type GG/GR if you don’t want to or don’t feel like it was a good game? I’m confused as to what in my statement you take issue with…

Seriously when will you take a hard long look in the mirror and grow up? How old are 20? 22? Above 25? GROW UP ALREADY! Someone wrote a simple acronym for “good game” or “great round” in a video game. If you can not handle losing than maybe do not play at all?
The issue is 100% you and you can also chose to mute the match chat if it causes you such problems. No the world should not nor will it ever adapt to you. So again grow up and drop this same discussion that keeps popping up here once and for all. The answer will always be the same, the problem is you.

I suggest disabling chat or finding a new game that isn’t an online PvP game if you get that upset from seeing “gg” after losing a match.

Why? “Defeat” doesn´t always mean it was a bad game. So many times I had fun even tho we lost…just don´t take it personaly I guess, it´s game…
Unless the game was an absolute steamroll then I will say GG all I damn please and if you don’t like it you can kiss me on the lips.

When I win and see a bad game I call it out and say no GG, Just because you can see a bad from a good game. Its brain wash idiots say GG after a steam roll.
Sportmanship was made for 5 year old’s playing soccer so they wont feel bad at night.
Knowing that a match was an even match and well played is a GG, not the nonsense that OW has.

People here Don’t hate Sportmanship, They hate the reason why they lost and feel like it wasn’t fair or a Good game. If OP doesn’t like the GG nonsese then he has a right to come here post about it and have a civil discussion about it.
The problem is not with me, but with the clowns writing useless rubbish in the chat.
I say “gg” at the end of every match and I’m going to keep saying it because, at the end of the day, it’s just a game and I hope everyone else enjoyed playing it as much as I did.

Since I turned off all ways of chat in OW, I’ve had a much better gaming experience.
Though I wonder what was going through some random Brig player’s head on the other team standing still while I lined up a Widow headshot barely ten feet away…

Why is it 99% of you only say GR when you win? Then when MY team wins, I have to call you out on the hypocrisy? and you always have some weak excuse. My favorite being, ‘I say it when I win to make the enemy team feel better for losing’
Just today, I played a match where a guy said ‘gg’ when he won the round, but forgot there was one round to go. When my team won the final round, did he stay and express his ‘gg’ at the correct moment? Not bloody likely - INSTA leave. ALL you gg apologists need to wake up to the real world
