Couldn’t agree more! Junkrat and Roadhog (I know the latter is supposed to be Kiwi, but still; as an Aussie I’m allowed to say that ) have pathetic accents. Between Junkrat’s Americanised “pAth” among other Americanisations, and Roadhogs unabashed American accent as a whole, the genuine Aussie/NZ rep is pretty lame…
I’ve always asked for this. There’s no reason why Zarya shouldn’t be able to get knocked back further with her right click. It shouldn’t make her OP, it adds to the mobility and high mobility makes the game more fun.
no. I don’t think they should be culling cc in OW2. at most tone down via a sort of diminishing returns global mechanic or one that prevents chain stunning.
like think about it for a moment, how the heck are supports and squishies overall are going to deal with a dive tank or just a bulky flanker gunning for them if they don’t have cc nor high mobility? and before someone says “get help from teammates”, that’s not really acceptable because so can the threat, it’s a 5v5 not a 4v5, i.e. the threat is still advantageous in terms of resources.

make damage orb specifically leave a trail of smoke that can then either
give a debuff to enemies that walk in + slight damage per 0.3s whilst inside or so or just deals % based damage per 0.5s whilst inside.
explode upon being shot at which deals damage to the enemy
if debuff route for smoke could be making it so that for a duration, shots made by the afflicted enemy causes them to immediately take damage and then be subsequently (i.e. after the action has been performed) unable to use abilities nor fire for 0.2s.

Very excited to see how PvE progression works. There’s a lot of possibilities with the inclusion of skill trees, so hopefully the creative teams go all out on those. It would be great if the different options had very tangible differences, rather than just a choice between faster projectiles or faster reloading for example.
I am (was?) a tank main and before that a healer main, not really specifically any of them though. I really do enjoy zarya though.
I know my profile is open, but i don’t think it can show all modes, I am pretty well rounded in an attempt to be well rounded haha. I find playing a hero first hand gives me a better understanding than the 144 character meme level’s of understanding you get on social media.
I got 199hr’s on zarya as my most played tank and rien around 150, 125 on hog, 100+ on orisa, then like 50 on dva monkey since i picked them up right after the fall of dive comp haha.
250hr’s on mercy, almost 200 on ana, 130 on zen.
that kinda thing, i just like thinking about things and am hoping the OW2 changes give me that spark for tanking back. Zarya really did capture my heart like a lot of the heroes in this game, and mercy let me tf2 medic here haha (medic/engie main in tf2’s critsandvich servers)
But there is no reason you can’t make it and toss an invite, i am always down for speculating on things or thinking of tactics and stratagies.
i dont think CC should get toned down in ow1 since it would be redundant but i wouldnt mind if they put 5v5 in the arcade for fun. yea i know it wouldnt even compare to overwatch 2 since a lot of the heroes are gonna be reworked and there will probably be new mechanics but im itching to try some 5v5 right now
as for waifus… yea cant have enough of that (still havnt got my lifguard mercy bikini skin) but thats my personal opinion and im pretty sure a lot of people have different ones heh
With high mobility heroes all around, it is a hard task to do. If we do decrease cc, we are looking at compensatory buffs to those heroes, which is a whole game rework. I don’t think they want to do that with OW1

Very hard question, I don’t know really. Cleanse is a suggestion, but we are staring at significant debuffs, because honestly she is not as weak as people make her to be. Maybe we would have to make her vulnerable during ‘fade’?
But I also like to have a low skill survivable support to fall back to when all hell breaks lose (when you are getting no help from your teammate and constantly getting tortured by enemy tanks/dps). So messing with her too much is risky for my taste

Fading through enemies temporarily slows them for a few seconds, not sure by how much, 30%?
That way we could encourage it to be used as a defensive tool to escape flankers more effectively, or in the offensive case, slow (potentially) multiple enemies during a fight
I guess a tradeoff would be Moira remains roughly visible for the duration of fade, otherwise folks would just get slowed and not know what’s going on.
