At the lighthouse there is an inscription which says “Ο φάρος του Ήλιος” .
It should have been “Ο φάρος του Ήλιου” if the designer wanted to write “The lighthouse of the Sun” in Greek.
Does it mean something different the way it’s inscribed? Or is it just sort of a bad spelling sort of thing? Just curious because it’s interesting.
it’s saying helioz instead of helios (helios being greek for sun) but wouldn’t be ήλιος (ilios) the modern greek word for sun?
I am not sure but if they meant “The Sun’s lighthouse” or “The lighthouse of the Sun” then they wrote it wrongly in Greek
