A message to all Mercys

Damn shut up about that last part real quick.

I dont know what lies you filled there head with, ill have to deal with that later but as of now if you got nothing else to say, then thats enough of you talking.

Good bye.

Only the truth :man_facepalming:t5:

You lying to Star won’t change anything when we can both go back in your post history and find it. You could maybe private your account, but…not a good idea. You’d prove me right by hiding.

But sure, run away. My break is about to end anyways, so honestly that’s perfect timing

Here’s an excerpt from the story I’m currently working on—which yes, is a Star Wars story for a roleplay campaign my boyfriend and I have been playing for 10 years. It involves a rotating cast of over 80 characters, half created by myself and half by him. At this point we have our own canon timeline set after Bioware’s Star Wars: The Old Republic.

Anyway!

Freezing wind whipped through the skeletal, petrified trees, their limbs long ago turned to stone yet somehow still standing. A strange sort of chiming, tinkling sound filled the air—music created as the driving snow impacted the crystalline bark. Frost gathered on the fur of Arsia’s hood, tipping her raven eyelashes with silver-white ice. She cared not—like the Chiss, Sith were meant for the cold, and it would take more than a simple blizzard to keep her from reaching her goal.

A new sound rang through the snow-shrouded forest—that of blaster fire ricocheting off stone, a kind of high-pitched ting, followed by a shower of gravel. Without thinking, she picked up her pace, driving herself forward as a flare of red light lit up the stormy evening, reflecting off the icy ground into the sky.

Voices—she could hear them now, just ahead of her through the trees. An argument, it seemed, for of the three she could discern, not one of them sounded happy. Snow blew into her field of vision, and she pulled her hood tighter, pressing her body against a massive, crystal-studded tree trunk as big around as Tave Naefas Sergeti was tall. Inching forward, Arsia peered with curious eyes into the clearing she’d stumbled upon—mere meters beyond her hiding place, assessing the situation she’d gotten herself into.

There they were—the four cultists she’d seen on her ship’s planetary scanner, the only living things on the surface of Ziost other than the sorceress herself. Two soldiers clad in the black and red armor of War’s army, and with them a pair of dark-robed figures bearing lightsabers at their hips and the unmistakable aura of Force-users.

And there it was—crumbling, half-collapsed walls of stone bearing carven symbols she recognized, rising above the forest floor with its door askew and blocked by rubble. For all the stars, the ancient temple appeared as nothing more than a ruined lump of the past, sunken into the ground when the forest floor buckled beneath the weight of Ziost’s enduring ice age. Fresh pockmarks marred the door’s stone face, sending a crackling current of anger through Arsia’s soul.

I hate it all.

All of it.

Every single word. It’s trash. Garbage. Absolute rubbish. I need to redo the whole thing. Feels rushed, like it’s obvious I was tired of writing her walking through the forest. Needs more drama. It’s gross.

I hate it.

Noooo :sob:

It’s not bad lol

You can add more to lengthen it and expand on more details but it’s already nice as is! Better than anything I can do

Oh after allllll the times youve proved me right by hiding and running away many many many MANNNNY times trust this is a given, hell a lot of your ammunition comes from not letting the other person finish talking and carrying out the full conversation.

This is like your main tactic, but I won’t insult you or say your this and that like you do me I don’t need to ad hominiem against you and then run away like the champion, that’s tooooo… pathetic for me, but if you’ve got a problem with someone ending something before it finishes then next time we meet your not allowed to be a hypocrite.

Now go ahead and say whatever damn excuse you got to justify your actions, Im done with this.

Now see, this is why language skills are important. If I have to put more effort into reading it than you did into writing it, I’m not gonna waste my time.

So…yeah. I’m happy for you. Or sorry that happened

Same, same.
I apologize for the trauma inducing phrases

I could, but at the same time I’m trying to keep this under 15 pages since it’s just supposed to be a one-off scene in which this character beats up some bad guys and finds an artifact. Oh, and she’s also going to get glowing golden runes magically embedded into the skin of her upper arms because that’d be cool.

The players in the scene do get expanded on a few paragraphs down but I’m still sparse on extreme detail. I do like one part of what I’m doing which is that her enemies don’t get real names. To her they are Rifle-Guy, Swamp Hair, Bantha Brain, and Annoying Thing.

They’re all going to die anyway. Most of my characters would pop out and have some dramatic speech first, but I think she’s just going to go for efficiency.

What does this even say?

I dont even know anymore weve been arguing for like 2 hrs.

If your team is running mercy lifeweaver you don’t need to worry about breaking rein shield because he won’t ever be using it. They will just charge into your stupid team comp and w+m1 to roll you into the dirt

Do you… do you think rein just walks in on Lifeweaver for free, damn how many healbots are there.

I usually have that thing cracked solo by the time he gets in.

Nooooo there’s a character limit :sob:

Why must you impose such cruel restrictions upon yourself?

I love this

Copy that, Star Commander. Will fart box energy square with the wrath of my teenaged angst. I just have to remember what that felt like so long ago…

Scratch that… Star Commander, what…?

In all seriousness, immediately after the OP, this entire comment section got hostile fast. We all may need to step back a moment and breathe.

No he won’t walk. He’ll charge. Lhcloudy will probably have a 100% win rate no shield Rein challenge if people run Mercy Lifeweaver

I… i wouldn’t recommend that…

As both a Mercy and LW :wine_glass:connoisseur :wine_glass: I refuse to subject people to this combo and will go a completely different support. I don’t want anyone to have to deal with this, unless I REALLY don’t want to play anything else. :sob:

Edit: WHY CAN’T I POST BACK-TO-BACK WINE GLASSES. BLIZZARD, THIS IS PHOBIC. (I managed to make it work, but it’s spaced and I can’t put a comma. Angry.)
