“I’m going to fight monkey inside his bubble, good luck supports”
It’s normal. Which is why I don’t understand point of such threads. On positive side, it’s always entertaining to observe someone fail - at least, as long as they don’t enter endless cycle of trying same thing and failing.
“Such threads” when you didn´t even read it.
This was basicly POINT of my whole thread so, I don´t understand, why you are attacking me. Anyway, if you are here to argue, I won´t help you.
I did read it, and for me it makes zero sense. Mainly because people you address it to do not read this forum.
I can understand ur frustrations, even if u took it a bit too far, as I main Supports myself. Like, my top faved Support’s Brig. So, when people ask me to heal them sometimes, ummm, 1, ur too far away for me to shoot u with heal packs, 2, if u needed healing that desperately, to the point that u need more than heal packs, I have Inspire, meaning u gotta be near me for me to heal u further, and 3, Don’t say my healing’s terrible when I cannot heal u (your too far away from me, flanking too much for me to keep up, I’m ded). So ye, I get u bro.
As a player myself, I make sure I try my best to have ur guy’s backs, u support players/mains and everybody else too that plays OW. Like, as D.va, if u rez, I might DM u or flank someone’s *** if they are trying to kill u. That’s my way of saying “I need u, as ur part of the team, a valuable member at that too,” or simply “I got ur back, bro!” Or as Pharah, I can throw in my boop to tell the enemy to “Back off of my healer, man!” If I ever get this desperate as a Pharah one of these days, I might even throw in a Barrage, just for u healers to be safe! Just make sure u have my back too, as I got urs.
Thanks 4 ur time,
The D.va, Brigitte, Tracer, Orisa, Mercy and Genji main at ur service,
Marcane
(p.s. I think I plan to swap off being a Widow main for Genji, but I am still unsure about it currently. We’ll see if it sticks or not overtime. But in the meantime, I’m still a Widow veteran, so u Widow mains watch out, cause I can read ur minds well, cause of past experiences going back to even be4 I became a D.va main!)
Too far? How? I just made a list of things that were bothering me for a very long time and I think I wrote it in friendly spirit, that´s all. This is my expirience.
They are usually the ones who don’t like Lamp, which would of course been the ONLY thing which could have saved them from the support lineup.
I’ve seen so many Rein mains beg for heals and thereafter blame the healers for losing a game even though they charged into the middle of the enemy team…
It’s quite absurd but somewhat funny at the same time.
This is honestly why I hate playing with Ana players when I tank as Rein and would rather play with almost any other support than Ana. Its not even charge based.
Reinhardt must push through shields to do damage and if Sigma/Orisa are good they can often put shield behind rein or even winston and block all healing into Rein and ana being so far away can’t do squat. The same for even just trying to turn corners. Many times you can turn corners and get some advantage, but the moment you do all healing is cut off.
It feels like I am playing with a huge weight on my back many times. Tanks are meant to usualy lead a charge, but it sort of hard when there is a bloody anchor in my rear.
Its less of a pain with the other units because Moira wants to be sucking people which she can only do from 15m out. She has a fade to catch up. Orbs to get around corners. Baptiste can aim really far and still get around corners or even above shields. Mercy can only heal through shields and keep up with the team. Lucio does the same. Even brig players many times want to stay closer to rein as a clump.
Ana is all over the place. They might put themselves into an incredibly restrictive spot that forces everyone to play in her LoS or we are screwed meaning the idea of chasing low hp targets, but still need healing to get the KO means the tank just dies. Now, if the Ana player is actually playing like right on top of her team as I do, its fine to me.
The other part is such a huge dive magnet and most ana players get screwed over by one dive character it cuts off all healing. Unlike some other units liek Mercy where say she can evade and keep healing people. Moira can AoE heal and heal over time with coal, orb, and primary. Baptiste has the AoE heal over time or ifield option.
I’m really starting to hate ana form the tank perspective despite being a largely support player these days.
You see, people are literally making threads about 25 on mccree. So yes, any bit of hp can get the hero killed, especially on squishies.
It just seemed a bit aggressive. But hey, your only showing your fury about the topic (or the passion of it). Nothing wrong with that at all!
I know right. Get outta here you no skill Bap players.
As annoying as the “We need a healer” glitch is, it at least allows people to see who’s spamming the “need healing” button so everyone knows they’re a prick
So you hate having Ana against double shield. That is understandable. But who even plays that now (even though I think it is quite strong).
But Ana against dive really depends upon the skill of Ana player and how you peel for her. She counters dive as well if sleep and nade are managed nicely and if other members have any sense of what is going on. She has lots of playmaking opportunities, you should play around that, don’t just W/shift into the enemy team. Look for the nades and sleeps (if you are rein), and protect her or keep an eye on her (if you are off tank).
What about D.Va players who put defense matrix on you to res? ![]()
I have asperger so I heard this many times, even tho I was confused, why people take it that way. Even after reading it over and over, I can´t see, how “softer” to write it for people to not get “hurt”. I am sorry.

Ironicly, I started to play Ana just because I was not able to keep alive agresive Rein with Moira or Mercy (which were my mains back than). I am also trying Bap, but his healing is slow and when Rein yolos away, he has the same problem as Ana.
Like the thread and get where it is coming from, lol. Some days are better than others in the world of supports :).
As a ‘rainbow’ player (not really maining any role), I’d add the following comments:
- If you’re a tank that needs/has armor, I’ll try to keep you topped up more frequently than a tank/dps/support without armor. Armor economy can sometimes swing a fight.
- If the enemy has a junkrat or pharah spam, I’ll try to keep everyone topped up above a rando-spam kill … which means tanks may need to be content to be closer to 50/50 health than being topped up constantly. You’re not gonna die to a single random junk lob…
Re: Ana comment vis a vis Rein.
Man do I get you on this…but from the Ana perspective. Trust me, a good Ana player doesn’t want to see you die…like, ever. Some maps are good in that they offer nice sight lines, including multiple options if a shield is dropped in your way. Others, not so much. And Ana and Bap have pretty much similar options in this regard, as 'nade can be tossed over shields or they can play closer to their rein in these situations (my preference).
What I hate is when a Rein goes around a corner on defense or pushes through a weak shield without first cracking it when they KNOW their healer is an Ana or Bap. You’re forcing us to reposition in those cases when it really isn’t necessary (just swing once or twice and that shield will go away). But…yeah, it really is the job of the healer to know where they have to position if their Rein keeps moving out of their LOS/behind enemy shields.

As I have stated, nothing wrong with showcasing your passion about a topic. Your fine. No need to apologize.
