Does anyone else has a problem like this?
I logged in after the event started, played 1 match for a tank (was promised a lootbox for it). Got my lootbox… kinda. It shows in start menu that I have 1 lootbox, but when I go to the lootbox menu option - there are no lootboxes to open. Only this ghost of a lootbox model.
Because the box you get as a role reward isn’t a Halloween box. It’s a vanilla one, and it’s quite the bull

Aw I thought I just found the ultimate way to grind loot boxes 
You’re limited to one box reward per day that way, anyway, so it’s definitely strange that it wouldn’t be an event box like everything else.
Least you can still get 25 credits i suppose…
Credits aren’t an issue for me. I have a ton. I just like the thrill of getting things from loot boxes so I wait until the last day before I buy anything.
