What was the absolute worst game you ever had? 6 dps with 5 10 year olds screaming at you to play support? A 5 stack of smurfs screaming at you to nano them and that you’re inferior? Tell me, personally mine is a hanzo main kid who didn’t play support or tank. They were like 10 which does trigger me more and I wasn’t really toxic I just thought to myself and my friend to discord that the game was a loss. Oh yea the support he had the most hours on was Lucio with a WHOPPING 6 HOURS SUPPORT MAIN LEVEL. The point is that he wasn’t doing good with hanzo so we asked him to switch and he made the quote I describe hanzo mains with “I DON’T PLAY TANK OR SUPPORT”. Also his second most played was genji which makes so much sense. The cherry on top? The map was Paris so it was all doubled.
Been playing this game since release, wayyyy too many to count. I’d say they go in groups my least favorite games are where people leave because of a bad defense. Instead of people saying ok let’s roll them back, nope. They just peace out. Happens especially on 2CP.
I hate when first teamfight happens and 3 smurfs leave. It absolutely sucks
The time where I had to solo heal. That was fun. Hanzo yelled at me for a good 10 minutes for not healing, we had a bastion who wasn’t playing with the team, and some other things I can’t remember
I think hanzo mains are just the target of everything which is why I hate hanzo so much. Though it is funny because I main genji and genji mains are notorious for op moira/brig shouting lol.
Mine would be the one Genji player that’s probably 12 thinking he’s pro in quick play and either begging for someone to switch to Ana or using blade and getting eliminated in about 2-3 secs from going in thinking they can wipe the enemy team solo.
it seems we all bad experiences with hanzo/genji mains.
Can’t pick between 3 of my placements last night
- Our Rein was literally emoting in spawn all game, then rapidly leaving and rejoining for some reason
- Both our supports duo’d were going on flanker missions and abandoning us 100% of the match. We were asking for heals. “If you want heals go Hog or Mei, (B word)” was their exact quote
- On Rialto we had to fight against a hacking Widow. She was making some impossible shots esp when she got dove and still got the headshot as she was jumping away. She was plat rank btw and we were all master/high diamond
tbh overwatch is really, really fricking (no problem forum rules) toxic and annoying. I can probably expect 5+ games with leavers in 10 games
Whenever someone instalocks my main Mei and is bad with her
Getting a gold for 1 kill and 9 deaths.
Ages ago, I had won my first 9 placement matches. I was super excited. The 10th match was Eichenwald. We attacked first, and stalled before the final checkpoint. OK, still super winnable.
One of the tanks got really tilted in chat that our DPS weren’t doing enough. He then swapped to bastion, and plopped himself right by the throne at the end of the level in sentry mode. He spent our entire defense round sitting there, spamming “need healing”.
We lost, and I’ve never come that close to perfect placements since.
Any game with a back seat main tank. Not a person just giving advice or a tip, but someone trying to control every action I make and getting mad when I don’t listen. Especially in QP, I play in that mode to relax, chill out. In comp, I made it to the same rank as you, I know how to play my role. Focus on your job, stop trying to play for both of us.
was a arcade capture the flag during chinese new year event.
I was mccree that day , when i was decent at him , before his rate of fire buffs.
And the enemy team had a tracer with a archives skin… Usually most tracers i see are garbage.
It’s normal , tracer is hard to play.
but this smurf tracer with only 1 star (was a tracer only account, all heroes had zero hours outside 1 support with barely any hours) , destroyed all my team alone , i was the only one that killed her. (2x with flash + fth , yes i was scared)
she destroyed , with mind games , those blinks and recalls… her AD AD was perfect and she alone won the game.
I was so scared.
after that game i felt so trash , that i stopped playing overwatch for + - 3 months
I honestly feel overwatch is the most toxic game I’ve played. So many leavers, smurfs, toxic people in general, and throwers.
I’ve had a lot of bad games during my 3 years of playing, but the worst game was probably when I killed my entire team by hooking a dva bomb.
Let’s just say my team wasn’t too thrilled about it and I was pretty embarrassed
The one that sticks out in my mind as the worst game I’ve played was me on Reinhardt playing on Hollywood attack against Hammond, Orisa, Doom, Sombra, Ana, and Lucio. Towards the end the Sombra swapped to Mei. Needless to say, that team had an absurd amount of CC, and they were hard focusing me. I was just a pinball the entire game.
We won the game pretty handily, but the constant forced movement spam was so pervasive that it made me motion sick. In over 20 years of playing all sorts of video games, that was the first and only time a non-VR game has given me motion sickness and I had to log off and lie down for about an hour.
That game stands out as the worst for me because I was both incredibly frustrated over being just an inflatable beach ball the entire game as well as feeling ill from the constant forced movement.
that sounds painfull
