The rework is not going to happen. They are going to give her a perk base kit and call it a day. Maybe the patch after they will nerf something to compensate. That is the established pattern.

Sombra is going to be perma banned, it is just how life is going to be for her. No amount of reworks will change how the player base thinks.

Coding doesn’t take up much space at all.

For 6 gigs, it’d have to be art assets, engine updates, that kind of stuff.

So expect summer games stuff.

Correct! A rework of her coding doesnt take much space.

However, within the 6GB update, we could see several hero reworks, including Sombra and hopefully Bastion and Doomfist too.

My hope for the new update is:

A new map
A new collab and/or new skin collection
Multiple hero reworks
New Summertime game mode

Sombra, Hog and Weaver are their only stated targets for reworks.

The Sombra bans will continue no matter what.

Any time something new gets added, all the players already good at the game jump on it and crush lobbies and all the bad players, let’s pretend they’re mostly new, blame the hero, not the players. Every time they do a big rework of Sombra, it’s like she’s new to the game again and the cycle continues.

I hope this is her last rework and if/when she’s still getting banned ALL the time, they remove bans or give chronically banned heroes some grace period or immunity because people can’t be rational anymore and picking on small brown girls is very popular.

Sombra has to quintessentially remain the counter to Mercy, like it or not. It’ll be a different way to humiliate the one tricks. Sombra players will adapt and will again laugh at you carebeary support players.

youd think theyd hype up the sombra rework pre release though right? they said itd be coming alongside the hog + weaver reworks as well.

also they havent said anything abt a new map?? theyd hype that up too. im honestly surprised theres no little teaser for the midseason tomorrow.
