If youre going all the way to my profile you could also check the last time i played on this acc was months ago, before that years ago. Ive stated on these forums multiple times i only use this account as a forum account, since i started posting on this initially ages ago.
Mainly i dont play on it so people dont use it against me, even though people clearly do.

If you see there the last time i genuinely played was around 2019, The latest at 2021 is me logging in for the first time in ages and putting private profile off, which updated my stats.
if you haven’t played to see how the gameplay has changed over the years then that is even worse.
Not on this account, this isnt even my first account, initially this was supposed to only be a forum account but i started playing on it since i couldnt post on my main account due to parental guidelines back when i started posting when i was still a minor.
Ive played through the entirety of 2021, 2020, 2019, 2018, 2017, and 2016 from when the game was released, the biggest break i had was during goats meta.
We have gone over this same song and dance before. What makes you think they get it right this time?
I would say the pressure is more on the DPS now, they have to actually kill things quickly and can’t rely on their tanks to shield their behinds while they try to aim.
We havent, we went to 1-3-2, which was vastly different, and a lot of people enjoyed it regardless

Almost every Major change to overwatch has added long term broblems, that also happen to be hard to fix.
What makes you think they get it right this time?

Every major change to overwatch just make people who dont like change get mad at them for changing things, majority of the community seem to enjoy them
Majority like Role queue, majority have liked the reworks of heroes, with a few differences, majorly people like the big changes, and the ones that dont come to forums etc to complain
You will have to rework half the tanks into DPS or they will become throw picks.
yeah but 122 is going to force tank players into shield meta… plain and simple… its a stupid move just like 222 was

Oh really? Is there a poll you’re basing this on? A bold statement with no factual evidence.
It also forces the people who want to play tank to be equally good at 10+ heroes with some drastically different playstyles to stay consistently at their SR level which isn’t expected from either of the other roles. The other roles are split into different playstyles like main and flex support so people aren’t forced onto heroes they can’t play. It is completely unreasonable to expect a player to be equally good at 10+ different characters and it’s going to make the solo tank disheartening to play season to season.

If majority was fine with current state of the game they wouldn’t be making such drastic change.
Say what you want, but “overwatch 1” haven’t been a smooth ride. You gotta admit that much.
No it hasnt. But forcing a part of the player base to do something is only going to alienate them and making them not want to play leading to even longer queues. The overwatch team doesnt know jack about their game nor their playerbase

I can guarantee you that 80% of the complainers will play the game and around 50% of them will actually adapt and like 5v5.
People like #drama and #outrage these days way too much. Thats basically it.
yes we do, its such a crap shot if you random tank players will pick a good duo
I’ve always grumbled about it, but I don’t bring it up often because I know I’ll be shouted down. It’s also gotten better, to be fair. There was a time when down here in the pits, there was a high chance that D.Vas would get shouted at if the co-tank was a Rein, Zaryas would get shouted at if the co-tank was not Rein, and Roadhogs would get shouted at. Now, just Roadhogs get shouted at.
DPS and supports don’t feel nearly as restricting, imo, and generally get shouted at for other reasons. (Not running acceptable DPS aginst Pharmercy or not being able to heal through a zillion damage, etc.)

Kinda true, ill give you that, although the change isnt going to be that large, or it could be enormous, from what we know which is very little its going to push tanks into 1 tank per game, but with tanks being severely buffed
True, but it hasnt been the bumpiest either, i dont think theres been a single game at least out recently thats been a “smooth” ride
I reckon its even higher, maybe 80% will play the game, and id say a good 65-70% will still continue to play, and possibly even like it
