How are blizz gauging how big it is, though? Because a fraction of players post on the forums, often with opinions that aren’t representative of the wider player base and I’m not aware of any polling they’ve done on the rest of the player base. I don’t immediately see any way they could have a clear view of what minority of people want it (and it will be a minority - even if bigger than the 5v5 crowd which is uncertain, there’s almost certainly a majority who really don’t care, either because they don’t play seriously enough to measure up the relative strengths and pitfalls of the format, never played OW1 to know the difference in the first place, just think the pro’s and con’s of each largely cancel out, or a host of other reasons.
