5v5 killed this game, it's so bad

Keep kidding yourself with that Blizzard stage announcement talk.
The only way you feel like you carry on a DPS or a support is because the tank on the other team is being gapped. You have nothing to do with it, sorry.

idk its my opinion and I formed it from playing the game for about 150 hours last season. I did that because I liked doing it. I was playing mostly dps and support… and had no issues climbing. Have you considered that maybe you’re just not actually more skilled than your rank?

Well, maybe. I peaked at 4.2k as Ball in OW1, you know, a tank. I also peaked at Masters 1 in all 3 roles last season. Regardless of my “chosen heroes” not really being meta currently… (I prefer to play Ball/Sigma as a tank, Echo/Reaper as DPS and Brig/Bap as a support).

If you’re playing a DPS or a Support and thing that you are carrying, I dunno what to tell you other than you’re delusional and overestimating your own value. The tank on your own team is worth triple the value that you are. That’s the depressing reality. If you lose a DPS in a fight it’s winnable, if you lose your tank in a fight you’ve lost that fight 100% of the time.
Nice attempt at taking a cheap shot there, though. IT’s nothing to do with rank, this valuation is consistent across every rank in the game. You could argue that the lower the rank the more valuable the tank, too. This value that I attributed to it is just what it is at my rank. I’ve heard people in GM say that it’s bigger, too.

If this were true OQ would be dominating in representation to the point where they’d either be pushing it or moving RQ to arcade mode. Goats killed OQ and the only way to fix it would have been to nerf tanks to the point where they function more like DPS.

So no RQ didn’t kill the game or OQ. OQ nearly killed the game and the lesser of 2 evils was chosen.

Exactly, and this is how a moba works, but mobas have more mechanics to counter tanks than this. Even in Paladins you can get fed and buy items to counter the 5k shield a tank can deploy.

if Overwatch stop adding new characters then yeah, it can be ballance

Spot on. To add, 2-2-2 was a common team composition before RQ was implemented so the game was moving that way anyway. RQ just enforced it for that particular game mode.

This is exactly the problem. Support playing Hard Mode with DPS on Easy wouldn’t bother me if it weren’t down to DPS having the damage output to win while supports have neither the abilities nor damage to do anything.

If we’re completely cosmetic and the entire game boils down to a dumb shooter, why would I play this? Just give me Call of Duty.

Incidentally I’ve gone to try Subnautica, it’s pretty cool.

They haven’t even balanced the base pool so I doubt that

That has less to do with them being weak and more to do with the box they designed themselves into.

No one wanted to play support or DPS, either. It got super boring because of the comps that became meta, and the comps that people would crutch anytime they weren’t stomping.

No one wants to play or play against double barrier or sustain stacking/abusing comps. It was boring AF. It just happened to be most boring for tanks because they’re the ones who had to sit there and trade barriers all game long.
