What?
This isn’t your post as to take every comment made here as directed to you.
I’m answering to the title.
I did not say 6v6 had no metas. Ok so let’s add lesser comprehension ability to your resume as well. I never said this. I just said the very mathematical truth… 6v6 is less meta prone than 5v5.
Especially with only one tank position.
You said i was whining you bootlicker
So what practical evidence do you have for that?
Since the way I see it, it’s DRAMATICALLY easier to solve Tank balance issues when you don’t need to worry about Tank Synergy.
And you still are. What’s your point? Got anymore nouns to throw at me?
Stop whining about my posts of the internet dumb smelly bootlicker. Make sure to buy your battle pass!
And there you go again. But this time you added more mean words to use. Lmao.
Lol, is this why Zarya is DOMINATING all modes right now, why her pickrate and winrate is astronomical… because it’s easier to solve tank balance issues? LOL.
It’s actually logically the exact opposite of what you claim. It’s more meta prone… after they nerf Zar, guess what… there will be another meta tank that will take her spot. With only 1 tank position it will always now be dominated by a meta tank… nerf that meta tank… the next one will fill in. That is the nature of 1 tank position vs 2 tank positions. That is the nature of 5v5 vs 6v6.
It is all laid out right there why 5v5 is clearly inferior to anyone whom has the eye to see the inherent logical flaws.
Glad you agree that im funny and right
You say that like it’s possible to just not have metas.
And just because a Tank hero is the best for the Top 5% or Top 1% or Top 0.001%, doesn’t mean that the other alternatives by definition need to be dramatically worse.
Heck, if anything, Tank picks are going to be more Map Dependant.
As outlined by Top500 Tank player, Flats.
Never said any of those things. Not entirely sure why you’ve resorted to making things up.
See you in OW2!
Top500 means nothing i could easily out tank this guy
Are they slow on balance patches, yes.
Is that going to be a thing after December 6th, no.
This game will be dead within a year
It’s like you aren’t reading what I’m writing.
This is actually exactly why 6v6 is better than 5v5 because 6v6 with two tank spots automatically/inherently gives more chances for non-meta team comps to overcome meta team comps.
Again, consider 1v1. Hog vs a suishy. Hog is clearly the meta and will win 90% of time.
But… then make that 2v2… it’s instantly more dynamic than 1v1. There are more chances for the non-meta team to surprisingly beat the meta team.
This is extrapolated upwards 6v6, with 2 tank spots. This is the magic of what made OW1 6v6 so special, that metas could be beaten, sometimes just by pure chance. That is mathematically less likely to occur in 5v5.
Look… if you just didn’t like some team comps… that had nothing to do with 6v6. It’s odd that you’re blaming team comps on a game mode. If you just didn’t like some team comps… how about we talk about those team comps, and how about Blizzard solves those issue whilst keeping the more dynamic less meta-prone 6v6.
If they had taken the smart approach to it, made some intelligent gameplay decisions and kept 6v6 and actually just dealt directly with the team-comp (double barrier) issues… then OW2 would be much better received universally right now, and it would have had a far better chance to succeed. Due to their choices, OW2 will now simply fade into obscurity… unless Microsoft rolls in and saves it by nuking this dev team.
That’s because there’s a big gap between what theoretically could happen, and what actually happened with 6v6.
But for real, GOATs was meta for 3 years.
Double Barrier was meta for 2 years, very brief interrupts (I.e. Superhog meta, and those 3 weeks where they nerfed Brig/Sig, then buffed them back a bit and people thought they were bad, then they went back to being meta).
And 1 singular Tank change to JunkerQueen since Beta #2, is supposed to mean that 5v5 Tanks can’t be balanced?
its not so bad when ya get used to it
Yes and reply button exists for a reason. I think it’s silly you - for some reason - think that someone saying they want back 6v6 means they are saying they want double barrier. Or it’s silly you think 6v6 = double barrier.
OP literally didn’t mention double barrier at all. Where did they say they want double barrier back?
the game is at the start of its lifecycle. we all knew that balance is gonna be very interesting when ow2 releases simply bc 5v5 is a huge shift. but as many already said 5v5 isnt the problem its much easier to balance than 6v6 with 2 tanks. i am very confident we will reach a point where ow2 is gonna feel better than ow1 ever did.
Man, since you two have the same player icon, I was really confused there for a sec.
