How do you know this? Especially 2-3 years before release?
I wonder how easy you’d find it to do even a halfway decent job of making “some new co-op maps” with even a team of developers.
If you thought this would include a full Left 4 Dead-style campaign (if not more), then you weren’t paying attention.

I am with OP, the game sucks and more heroes, maps aren’t going to make it better…and a story mode should’ve been in the game since day 1 but even that just seems like the events all mashed together…

they said every current game mode would get new maps, and that The new game mode had 3 maps already being developed.
the new Co-op has Skill upgrades, items, and much different AI.

This is the most misleading post ive ever read. There are lots of maps, heros and other things they haven’t even talked about yet. Wtf is wrong with you.
The entitled gamer shows themselves again. It’s a lot of new content including an upgraded engine. I salute Blizzard for making it a single purchase and not some awful free to play pricing model.
