4 years of nothing then PAYWALLED

Can we wait until we get there? There is no P2W in OW2 and it would also not make sense. Same for games like Fortnite, LoL, Valorant or Apex.

Diablo Immoral is a P2W mobile game. OW2 is a completely different story. You are reaching to far whiling claiming unreasonable things.

The base line is you got 6 years of free stuff for the money you paid. Now that they start to developing stuff in a broader scale again they need the money flow again so the system needed a change.

They even let you KEEP all the stuff from OW1. This is not normal for a sequel. That is a big positive thing that a lot of people overlook.

Are the survey prices good? No. Is the system better than before? No. Does it need to be changed? Yes because thats how OW2 development continues.

Exactly. 4 years of nothing AND STILL ON THE PAYROLL.

Needs some chopchop. The same ppl → no more AAA employment.
gl hf in ur future careers! you donuts won’t be missed!

if ur gonna paywall us, at least make sure the cash gets back to some actuals ?

No one directly yet does do they? No.

They will not paywall characters, they already said so.

They cannot milk you if you don’t pay. You do not pay to play in OW2. You just don’t, we already know this.

All this bellyaching is over cosmetics.

No it wasnt free, people bought lootboxes, owl skins were not free, 6 years of what excuse me?! it was only 2 and half after that repeating the same event and content with washed up skins

Not enough to let it continue. That is the problem. Otherwise, they would not have stopped. But in the end you got more than enough of free stuff from the game even without buying anything.

More like, I genuinely don’t mind if other people feel like shelling out a money to buy pixels.

If it’s worth it to them, then it makes them happy, and I get to benefit off of it.
Why would that be a problem?

And if they are actually overpriced, then they won’t sell well, and they will have to lower the price.

Sounds like the NFT Market.

Yea all over the place, the elf spams even on diff accounts. Funny fomo warriors.

Oh pfft

I’ve dealt with the same problem with Valve

And let me tell you, $45 is still cheap compared to some of the **** Valve puts on their in-game store.

and you dont speak for anyone else. You didnt say I think its too high, you said that as if its some universal truth

Just because you dont like something doesnt mean its a problem. The game will live on with you thinking these are priced too high. You dont matter that much

you dont have to like it but that doesn’t mean its wrong either

They are high and I wont buy them. That doesnt mean its unfair. I just wont buy it and its fine. you dont need them for anything

Did you just try to pull the weakest uno in history while adding an ad hominem attack?

Business bad? Fluff you, pay me.
Place got hit by lightning uh? Fluff you, pay me.
Cube crawling jackasses? Fluff you, pay me.

You can try to boycott and change as much as you want but if only 500 whales exist they will make it worthwhile for Blizzard to squeeze out every last bit.
That’s sadly how it works. A game can have millions of players who boycott micro transactions but if a few thousand whales spent their 50k or more on the game then all the efforts by the other million players are in vain.

I told you why you were wrong. i dont expect you to like it

You can be mad but it really doesnt matter. the game will go on, you can buy or not buy the skins. They dont matter either

youre trying to laugh but youre the one thats mad and the skins are going live like it or not

Sorry not interested in discussing this topic further with you, I can already see the…limitations.

There was nothing for you to say in the first place

You dont like something… so what? its going live and you can buy it or simply not worry about these cosmetics that don’t matter anyway

Im not buying them and it will be fine

What kind of crazy logic is this? lol. Enjoying their game for hours and hours and hours, means they owe YOU? lol. This might be a first. “I’ve gotten hours and hours of entertainment and fun from your game, now you owe me.”

And you are getting TONS of things for free. New heroes, maps, gamemodes, revamped rank system, an updated engine, etc. etc. You will probably even get lots of free cosmetics through the free track of the battle pass. What is your problem with this??

Anything is cheap compare to lootbox system with very low rates honestly. This is why I said lootbox stew the values of digital cosmetics items. It really didn’t happen instantly.

Pretty much this. So Act-Bliz really need to make sure OW2 is a massive hit on release if they are going to charge such high prices.
