When in ow1 history was that? Always was Hey we do support ups its DPS now, ok, ok this one is support, nope its DPS, Hey good news we do a tank annnd its DPS, ok guys we know you wanna new support so echo will be DPS.
Next year is about populate support role to make it more fun to Play and Kiriko is first atempt for that if she get positive feedback we will get more supports like zen and DPS will Cry that supports now prefer killing and not pocketing.
At this point I think its a bot throwing templates:

Add weird claim + comment insulting players clown-emote

People like to conveniently forget that DPS is, in fact, not the only role that Blizzard appeals to. It’s much easier to complain about how many DPS there are compared to other roles and conveniently forgetting that DPS used to be split into defense and offense characters which were vastly different than they are now with most getting reworks to make them more viable in both situations.
But hey, muh tank, muh support, where they at, am I right?
Im talking about Heroes that at first where differend role but end up as DPS.
sym, sombra, echo where at start support, sombra could hack health pack and lower CD for others, sym was non healing, echo was made as a support but coze of ult was changed to dps, DF was tank and before realise swich to dps and DPS was crying coze DF is tank and y blizz did that etc.
Sym was never a support, regardless of the general category they had her in. Sombra was always a dps, and while yes echo was originally planned to be a support, we were only told that after she was revealed as a dps. It’s not like we had support heroes who were taken away from us, people just assumed echo would be support before her announcement.
We never got more than 3 heroes in a year.
