Can’t un-avoid a person from the list because they are not being listed.

Make sure you check every page in “Recent players” tab. If one player showing up on the first page for example, another can be showing up on the last page.
Yup checked that but nope it was locked for whatever reason. It passed 7 days so the person got unticked from the list automatically.
I have the exact same problem. Checked both screens and there is only one availability. It sucks
