I don’t know if it was intentional for you to say Massachusetts- I don’t have an online source for Ben’s quotes- but from Wittes, the academic being quoted in the interview, the context was that the Pennsylvania colony did not have the essential FREEDOM to tax its constituents, in this case the Penn family, which it needed to do to support its own defense spending, and was being bribed by the Penn family with a huge chunk of change to avoid being taxed. Basically, the Pennsylvania colony could LITERALLY purchase its safety, using the bribe from the Penns to pay for defense spending, rather than exert its essential freedom to tax constituents for the common good. Basically it’s advocating for an organization or government’s right and need to enforce actions for the collective good rather than accepting ‘easy’ or ‘painless’ solutions that don’t solve the actual problem.
Given this context, your quote is referring to the fact that Massachusetts must accept the risk of war rather than accept having its laws changed by (British) Parliament, which was considered to not be acting in the colony’s best interest.
In the context of this argument it in fact argues for Blizzard’s right to enforce 222 as an action taken for the common good of its community rather than accepting the ‘easy’ or ‘painless’ solution of keeping Open Queue.

You guys act like you can still throw curve balls. There’s nothin fb more terrifying in the lower ranks then some one going bastion, mei, or wrecking ball in the last minuet of a game. People really panic when that happens at least down in gold and plat.
Beat me to the punch, thanks!
In a recent forum poll, almost two thirds of players said they prefer 2-2-2.
So
There have been many such polls, but I am unaware of any valid data that supports the claim of a majority
I know of no evidence at all to support the claim of a majority here
remember that one of the major arguments for 222 was making balance easier and faster?
yeah. 8 months later we have the same problems.

I think someone may administered amnestics to you, because I find hard to believe you forgot the time before 2-2-2 with GOATS, and what happened immediately after 2-2-2 with Double Barrier, and thank Jeff we didn’t live through Sigma GOATS
So yeah, we’re definitely better now than before 2-2-2, like, a lot better, and balance patches have been getting out with a lot more frequency, not so long ago we got them like every two months
we still get them every two months
I mean you could always hit the announcements tab and see that there’s been nine patches between February 25th and April 23rd, and that’s during a global pandemic with no precedents, but sure yes, whatever you say
Nah I’ll pass on doing that, I can’t risk to end up like you
says the comp moria 1 trick
people know its there…the flex players arnt going back to that Sh*t.
i dont think you fully understand the meaning of a flex player
lol, I don’t trust this forums polls tbh.
Fundamentally, Overwatch started as a “You ARE the roster”, as in, you could literally be any character you wanted, but so could everyone else. The whole point was about adapting to ether your team or what the enemy was doing.
They eventually limited character picks to 1 per team, but there was still enough options that any player could make a choice mid match to help the team.
Now all of what OW started as is basically gone, or waay more limited.
Nice try, but a failed one as always…
I never made the claim of a majority here, I just provided my own educated guess on the subject…

In my experiences, if the team didn’t perform awesome, the tanks and supports both will swap to dps.
I like the idea of having some supports and tanks, bc dps you’ll have anyway.
I always had to explain that i had a bad round and that on support i probably heal worse and on tank i most likely am going to feed.
Also with 3-3-3 you just get goats again in pro play, forever.

Didn’t GOATs make switching irrelevant for like a year?

I kinda hope blizzard changes the incentives for switching, and makes it a bit more rewarding.
Trying to run a counter comp, can put you at a huge disadvantage if it fails.
2-2-2 is the best thing that happened to this game and make full sense.
A classic problem is that everyone chose DPS and there is no healer or tank.
The worst thing that happened to this game is the hero ban. I have lost all interest in playing competitive now
