Well you can contrubute to the handfull of people willing to go to grazy lengths to break x/y/z hero. Like their are mains of every verity in top 500. And they can play competetively their. If you want to play something, go for it. learn the in’s and outs and find odd ways to break them.
(I would recommend stick with heroes that are not going to have their kits flipped in OW2)
Just because the community has their favorites, which honestly it’s harder to climb on popular characters. Doesn’t mean their isn’t room for some wacko to break Junker boy or frog man.
Could use more variety. And lmao I completely forgot about sojourn
It’s really just zarya or Winston but at least they are both equally effective so it’s not always a straight mirror comp. Mirror fights are the most boring to watch.
? Wdym? There’s 17 of em? How do u only see 4? Wdym only seeing 4 DPS? In OWL matches? If so, then I’m seeing more than that played, like Tracer and Echo? I would wish for clarification here?
Imagin calling current Brigitte, Lucio or Winston the top easy heroes
They require brain to do anything the most, while aim is a skill that is improving passively while you are playing. If I play for 8 hours in the end of the journey I will have constant 45%+ acc on Ashe for example and I mostly play Mercy these days.
While Winston, Lucio, Brig have to manage their cooldawns, position themselves and track abilities only thing hitcans need is clicking enemies.
You are making yourself a clown by saying that Winston is top easy hero.
All heroes in the game require mechanical skill, and all heroes in the game require ability/ultimate management , positioning, game sense, movement skill to be effective.
But as far as mechanical skill that deals with aiming mechanics, some heroes require way more than others.
No one that isn’t clueless would say Mercy takes more mechanical skill than Ashe. Again I’m talking about aiming mechanics not cooldown management, or positioning and all that. Which ALL heroes need.
No one will say Winston or Lucio require more mechanical skill than Widow.
Brig doesn’t take more mechanical skill than McCree (left click). I’m talking about good McCree players that mostly left click.
It silly that i even have to explain this.
I literally have younger nephews and cousins that play Overwatch and their ages range from 10,12,14, male and female, and they all gravitate to heroes that are easier to play. (their words as well) . Since they don’t have much FPS experience other than Fortnite. They play all the usual suspects like Junkrat, Mercy, Moira, Bastion, etc.
Doesn’t take a gaming expert to know that some heroes are more mechanically demanding than others. As far as FPS mechanics go.
And what are aiming mechanics in a first person shooter mechanics?
Mostly aiming, accuracy, consistency, tracking, muscle memory, flicking, arm positioning/movement, reflexes, and a few other things I’m forgetting.
As Hanzo, I’ll happily take a 1v1 with any of the hitscan heroes (including Widowmaker).
There are plenty of maps that can be favorable to Symmetra play if you have an “out of the box” kind of perspective on the game.
Also, most GM Pharah players can go 40/60 or almost 50/50 against hitscan.
It’s more about understanding your hero, your environment, and how to use what you have to outsmart other people.
I definitely wouldn’t label these two heroes as easy. Especially Winston. His skill ceiling is probably one of the highest of all the heroes in the game.
Did you play Beta? Lucio didn’t die. Until they basically removed his self-heals because his role passive + self heals was completely busted.
In comp, I only see rein zarya and the occasional hog and sigma player
Ana and Zen usually. maybe Ana mercy. brig and moira only occurs after being killed by flankers 5 times.
And yet provided no value other than not dying since his utility is was redundant, while the ‘nerf’ didn’t actually provide any meaningful change to him lol
