Not that hard, I just left my twitch on while I went to work and I got it that way.
With Blizzard, you get what you pay for (nothing). Frankly, if you are (imo) foolish enough to spend real-world money on something you might get for free, later, thatâs your own personal choice (and you should probably make peace with that before your time of purchase).
If you decide to support Blizzard with human currency, thatâs also your choice, but my perspective is theyâve done the opposite of earn it.
Lol, I don´t regret the purchace. I don´t know what you are talking about.
Only way they can give content creators viewers. Lets face it being dumb purposely in the game then making the same face over and over again only entertains for a short period of time. More twitch views gives the game an illusion of being active and not dying. Kudos blizz
âŚwhere do I regret my purchace again?
If you purchased it and felt completely satisfied/positive about your choices, you probably wouldnât tell others to quit complaining that itâs free (with conditions).
I mean I could be wrong, but it comes across as a bit salty, at minimum.
100% agree with Fooze.
Frankly, be grateful that they give out as much as they do for free through watching Twitch. They could easily not do it all and we would have fewer cosmetics available to get for free. Even if you have to go through a hoop to get it.
Itâs better than not.
Purple!?
Purple is my favorite color!
As an OW1 player this is laughable, though.
Or since there used to be less watch time on Twitch for Legendary skins, they could just do that again. You know, what this topic is about. IDC that they put stuff up for free on Twitch, I care they try and get you to watch 15hrs for less than they used to give away for 6.
Or, you know, we could not be happy about crumbs and push back a little.
No, it means:
âYou get it for free - shut up and take the free itemâ. It doesn´t mean âI regret I bought itâ.
I was waiting for coffee icon and coffee cosmetics for years and knowing, that this bundle wwould be free latter in many months latter, I would still get it sooner anyway.
Hard to accept for you maybe, but it´s what it is.
Then as an OW1 player, you might have to change your expectations as due to OW2 now being F2P, Blizzard hasnât and wonât be as generous. Also due to Activision.
I never used Twitch or played OW1 when they were doing that. Would 6 hours be more convenient than 15, sure. Is it really enough of an issue to get mad at Blizz for forcing people to watch more hours than before when said hours are easily attainable through idle watching/playing? For me personally, no.
Due to OW2 now being F2P all youâll ever get is crumbs. I donât think thereâs even one good example of a F2P being very generous with its cosmetics in general, or without it being predatory someplace else, especially modern games. Getting upset and fighting these sorts of battles is obviously important, but IMO this ainât one of them.
So if youâre that happy for it, why are you telling others to shut up?
Why not be happy theyâre also getting it if you find that much joy in it?
I donât watch the stream anyway and if I want something, I leave it running somewhere unattended.
They know nobody will be physically glued to the screen for 15 hours so the time requirements can be slightly outrageous. Plus their streamers get to admax.
I guess this is really the answer, here.
Sigh.
I AM happy, idk why you assume so much incorrect stuff about me.
It´s just reminder, that they are getting a free goods, that were priced some time ago. It´s not that deep.
Probably because you said:
That didnât come off as happy.
Do people not know this happens with OW?
IDC that weâre getting free goods, and Iâm not complaining weâre getting free goods. Iâm complaining it takes 15TwitchHrs to get a purp skin when it cost 6 or 9 for a legendary one.
Well, I already explained, that you assumed wrong.
As for that - if you still wanna complain, keep complaining I guess.
I just want you to admit you in no way came off as happy, you were trying to police my complaining, which is why I responded and kept responding to you. Like you can lie to me all you like, you probably shouldnât lie to yourself!
These are the OW forums itâs not like weâre here to compliment the game, anymore.
