11 votes in qp 5v5

at the end of the game, a bap got 8 votes, a mercy 2 and the zen 1, no spectators apparently. how is this possible? or maybe im wrong and there was 1 guy watching that voted?

I noticed that too. Wonder what’s up with that

I keep noticing I’ll have a vote sometimes as soon as the screen even pops up like it’s adding one to a hero automatically or something? Like does the game itself have a vote?

I had one where there were 12 votes, and several times I noticed that before the screen even appeared, someone already had a vote… I believe these are fake votes to influence people to use the mechanic.

Clearly the EOMM is boosting egos…all part of the master plan

Snowball, B.O.B, Mitzi, Gunny, Cha Cha, Kit, Pablo, Murphy, Wrecking Ball (the mech), Ganymede, DoR.O.T.Hy, Tokki, Gracie, Deimos, Phobos, Rosetta and Chernobog also get votes.

I vaguely recall hearing a while back it used to let spectators vote. Dunno if thats still true, but that could explain it.

Oh sorry I misread this as map voting, not end of game voting. Ignore me. undeadhatred below is correct.

Whoever the game considers to have been the top performing player from each team gets a bot vote. Apparently it’s meant to give others incentive to weigh in. I’m also seeing some people on reddit confirming spectators can vote.

It’s all part of Satya evil plan… the bald evil one… But funny as it may seem, it’s more common than you imagine. It’s not a conspiracy theory, but rather using psychology. Nothing is done without a reason. In case of the MVP… It’s not to boost egos, but to encourage people to use the mechanic. A real-life example is when something happens and nobody helps, but as soon one person helps, others around them start to help. This happens in various places in various ways

The system of endorsement is one… the mechanic exists, but it’s common not to use it. What did they do to influence you to use it? creating a social element. Although in this case it’s more of a treats than an inducing action, but in both cases it’s a way of getting us to do something.

Omnics deserve voting rights, too!

No wonder I always get a pity vote.
