I personally think that this change ruined Mei… i know people hate her but teams that did use her were not making as much impact as the other DPS, simply because the damage to replace the lack of cc was not there at all.

This. Mei is the crowd-control heroine. If they’re going to nerf her crowd control, they need to buff her damage.
