Funny.
More DPS. Same crappy habits.
I like 1-3-2. Some DPS need to learn how to play as a team.
Break shields. There is ONLY one darn shield. Break it.

If they wanted to do that or even remotely cared, they would have tried to learn any of the two other vital and necessary roles for every team already instead of expecting everyone else to make concessions to how their role is played and endure character reworks to their entire hero class just so they can continue to play exactly the way they want and when they want.
But, nah.
No, it is not required to do so. Some people like certain roles. That’s it. You cant make them do something they don’t enjoy.
Or play a flanker and go around it.
Shield breaking is a chore. Someone has to do it.
DPS can “focus” the shield you know.
Okay, but if you don’t want to play the game except in one specific way, I think it’s fair to deal with a longer wait because there are a lot of other inflexible people who want to play it that way, too. Nobody forces anyone to wait. They do have all the power to not wait if they want, they can play the other roles and wait less time. They choose to queue up knowing that anyway, so they are choosing the wait time.
I can prefer one attraction at Disneyworld and refuse to go on any of the rest. But if 60% of the other park goers also is doing the same thing, I have to wait in a long line. Disney isn’t going to build a second of the same ride by stealing parts from the others just for me. In my experience, wait times for DPS haven’t gone down during 2-2-2, so it seems like these people either aren’t quitting and would rather wait then not play the game at all or Blizzard has a heavy influx of new players all the time (which they don’t).
No, sorry. 10 minute wait time for an FPS is unacceptable. Including the fact of early leavers etc.
5 minutes to wait for an FPS game is considered extreme wait time already.
Actually there are SIXTEEN different ways that people might want to play under the DPS category.
Okay, but this game has roles. Try literally any other game that has different roles you queue for and get back to me. All of them have similar wait time discrepancies between damage and every other class.
Basically, every other developer has decided, “This is the game we created. This the role that you chose. Nobody made you choose that role. Deal with it.”
By the way, I always queue with my team, so there are obviously 2 DPS, and so we always have the 10 minute queues, pretty much, and I do that every day. It’s literally not that bad. Have you ever played a COD game where the servers just kicked you out? Or a game at the end of its life cycle with less populated servers? Like you guys are ridiculous
Playing every role taught me how to play against every hero and have more than a chance VS every opponent. It works like this in every game…
I suggest you to start do the same, it’s a fundamental for understanding the matchups. For example i see a lot of DPS complaining about Moira. If that person played Moira for a while he wouldn’t complain because it’s piss easy to shut down
If tanks wanted to win or even remotely cared, they would have tried to learn any of the two other vital and necessary roles for every team instead of expecting everyone else to make concessions to how their role is played while they continue to be ult batteries. The rest of us have to endure 10 minute queues and character reworks to our entire hero class just so feeding tanks can continue to waste everyone’s time by playing exactly the way they want and when they want because of their 2 minute queue. I can’t wait for 1-3-2 because solo-troll tanks will be forced to take accountability from 5 other people and get suspended.
I have played every role dude. Sorry. I don’t play DPS much in competitive because the chance never arises but I queue for all roles and will play any of them. Maybe you, the DPS with the longest queues who complains about it while contributing to the problem at the same time, should try it.
I already have. I’m still maintaining my tank and support elo while my formerly highest elo role has plummeted after the 10 minute damage queue update. Project A is going to yoink so many players if 1-3-2 isn’t implemented.
Well, that sucks, I’m sorry. Solo queuing can be kind of a gamble especially toward the last week or two of competitive, maybe if you find some people you trust to play well to queue with you, you could turn the odds more in your favor to climb? I don’t know, you might already do that. Or just like put aside that role for a bit until next season when you got a little bit more time?
